"A beautiful and talented poetess, and becoming a famous bard is her dream," as she said on episode one.

She is a female knight who belongs to the Niren Corps, together with her twin sister, Chastel. She is a knight senior to Yuri and Flynn and is the older of the twins. She was earlier seen in the first few character arts released for the movie.

She was created to be the epitome of everything mortal men desire. She appears on Earth as a busty blond with a bubbly personality and the intellectual capacity of a typical household appliance. She exudes an aura of desirability so powerful that all men she encounters will eagerly do anything she wishes, with Aoi and Maya being the only exception. Women are not affected by this power, and in fact find her rather unpleasant. She also speaks in third person exclusively. As an adult, Pandora can do almost anything with her divine power, which makes her especially dangerous when combined with her poor impulse control. Her special ability, the Goddess Wish, channels her divine energy into a Wish that she usually doesn't specify-- in Volume 2 she changes a store owner's entire shop into solid gold as a thank you for helping her. When Pandora uses a Wish, she is reverted to a "lolita" form, where she looks and acts like a more well-behaved ten year old girl. To change back, Pandora always needs her slave Aoi around to kiss her and restore her powers.

Lt. Surge is the Gym Leader of Vermilion City's Gym, known officially as the Vermilion Gym. He hands out the Thunder Badge to Trainers who defeat him. He specializes in Electric-type Pokémon. Lt. Surge is an extremely large and muscular man, and seems to be the show's tallest human character. He is arrogant, loud, and crude, and refers to all trainers as "babies" until they manage to defeat him. Lt. Surge generally looks down on unevolved Pokémon, preferring to evolve them as soon as possible. His Raichu shares many of his personality traits, also appearing to be rather tough. Lt. Surge's fatal weakness was that he evolved his Pokémon too quickly without taking the time to teach them the proper attacks. Even though he managed to defeat Ash and his Pikachu once with pure power, Pikachu was able to use speed-altering moves like Agility to get the best of Raichu.

Nation's name: Democratic Republic of the United States of America Capital: Washington D.C. Language: English Birthday: July 4th National flower: Rose Human name: Alfred F. Jones Height: 177cm (5’10”) Age: 19 (appearance) A young nation who was once called the “New World,” America is the self-proclaimed leader of the Allies. He has blue eyes and short blonde hair, which was changed to a light brownish-blonde color in the anime adaptation. During his early childhood, he was fought over by France, England, and Finland, a fight which England ended up winning. America was raised by England, and the two had a brotherly relationship, all which went bad after the American Revolution. In modern times, they get along, but are often found bickering with each other or teasing each other. Even though they appear to hate each other at times, they both really care for one another’s wellbeing, and England is really one of the only true friends that America has. Another good pal of America’s is Japan, who is also said to be one of America’s “true friends.” The two often play videogames and watch movies together, and collaborate to create new technology and cars. America seems to be fond of Japan’s culture, lifestyle, and home, going so far as to get excited after seeing the Tokyo Tower and an average neighborhood shrine. Japan is often puzzled by America’s “Western Culture” and was shown taking pictures of his “strangely colored” cakes before. America also has a friend named Tony, who is an alien from outer space. Even though he interacts with aliens, America can’t see fairies, spirits, or other mystical creatures like England can. It was shown, however, that he is able to see them on Halloween, but no other day in the year. It was confirmed that America and Canada are blood-brothers, though it was not stated who was older or whether they are twins or not (a common fan-speculation). Countries, such as Cuba, often mistake Canada for America due to their extremely similar appearance. On some occasions, America completely forgets about Canada’s existence, has no interest in him, and overshadows him, much to Canada’s chagrin. Canada usually becomes furious on the inside because of how he is treated by America, but even so, the two seem to get along with each other alright and have a normal sibling relationship. Most know him for his energetic, cheery, and somewhat hyper personality. He’s rather nosy, impulsive, and cannot “read the atmosphere” (though it was said that he can “assess the situation”), so some nations often get annoyed and disgusted with him. Maybe it’s because of this that Japan and England are his only real friends. His hobbies include archaeology, sports, sketching, games, making movies (especially scary ones), and eating fast food, such as hamburgers. Currently, he’s obsessed with heroes, justice, freedom, strange diets, and weight-loss machines. America is noted as being deathly afraid of horror movies (that he loves, even though they scare him), ghosts, and marmite, and he believes that one can travel to any country around the world by car. He seems to have super, inhuman strength; he was able to swing a buffalo around as a child, he once stopped a car with the heel of his foot, and he once dragged England’s heavy Rolls Royce around for one hour. It was because of England’s cooking (that had no taste whatsoever) that nowadays, America can eat strange colored and inedible looking foods. The small ahoge that sticks up on the right side of his head (by his part) was confirmed to represent the island of Nantucket. His glasses were said to represent Texas. In the manga, his signature bomber jacket is shown having a “50” embroidered on the back, representing the fifty states (in the anime, the “50” was removed). Even though he wears glasses, doesn't actually have a problem with his sight. Hidekaz Himaruya once mentioned that the “F.” in his human name possibly stands for “Franklin,” “Foster,” or “Fuck.”

Refill is Genius' older sister and Iselia's schoolteacher. Refill is calm and levelheaded, but is overly fascinated around ruins of any kind. She raised Genius from childhood all by herself, and doesn't hesitate in resorting to physical violence to teach Lloyd or Genius a lesson. Though she and Genius both claim to be elves, it is revealed later that they are in fact half-elves, and that they came from the world of Tethe'alla. They were sent to Sylvarant by their parents to escape Tethe'alla's highly discriminatory laws and to keep the child prodigy Raine from being manipulated by the Imperial Research Academy. While on the run from the Academy, Refill fell off of a boat and nearly drowned, leading to a severe case of hydrophobia. Eventually, Virginia, Refill and Genius' mother, sent them both through the Otherworldly Gate so that they could escape. The reason Refill and Genius were able to live in Iselia was because Refill told the villagers they were elves, having Genius hide his true nature as well. Refill is the complete opposite of Genius in cooking, and tends to make rather repulsive food, as noted by Lloyd and several other members. She takes comments about her cooking straight to heart and usually loses her temper. Refill is a classic staff-wielding healer, and is also gifted with light-element offensive spells and stat augmentations. (Source: Wikipedia)
