Akio is Nagisa's father. Although he often talks and plays rough, he is kind and sympathetic. His childish side makes it easy for people to befriend him. He runs the Furukawa Bakery with his wife Sanae. In his spare time, Akio plays baseball with children in the small park next to the bakery, and indulges in the Gundam fandom. He is often the victim of Sanae's bread, having to eat her bread in front of her while claiming that he loves it. During the School Life arc, Akio reveals that he was an actor in a theatrical company, but has to quit his job due to Nagisa's health. Akio replaces Youhei's role as the comic relief during the After Story arc, however, he can be serious when needed, as he often gives advice to Tomoya on what it is like to become a man. He tells the story about how Nagisa almost died due to their unintended negligence, and how her life is connected to the city after getting saved from her fever.
Kouko is Fuuko's older sister. She used to be an art teacher at Tomoya's school, and she treats everyone kindly. Kouko is one of the familiar faces in the Furukawa Bakery, and Nagisa admires her very much, being her former art teacher. Currently she is engaged with Yusuke Yoshino, and is the major reason why Fuuko still exists in the school, despite still sleeping in the hospital. In the movie, Kouko was a drama teacher instead of an art teacher. She, along with Youhei and Tomoya helped supervise and revive the drama club for Nagisa.
In order to balance the immense positive magic of the Clow Cards, Clow Reed created the Nothing Card (ç„¡), containing negative magic equivalent in magnitude to the other fifty-two cards. Anything that comes into contact with it will cease to exist. Nothing appears in the second movie and is terribly lonely in the beginning, unable to interact with others without destroying them. The only beings that can interact with her safely are the other Clow Cards. As a result, Nothing tries to steal the Clow Cards (now Sakura Cards) so that she would not be alone again. Nothing's presence is vastly encompassing, once detecting Eriol's attempt to call Sakura about the card and destroying the phone lines as a result. Nothing continues to steal the Sakura Cards and destroys everyone and everything that Sakura holds dear; Nothing likely views Sakura as a villain who stole her "friends" (the Clow Cards) and intends for Sakura to suffer the same pain of loss that it has felt for centuries. In the end, the Sakura Cards try to return to Sakura, and Nothing falls into hysterical despair, believing that her friends have abandoned her. However, Sakura convinces Nothing that it can be her friend, too, together with all the Cards. She returns Nothing to a Clow Card form and then transforms it into a Sakura Card by merging it with the Nameless card to form The Hope. All the damage and deaths caused by Nothing are then miraculously undone. Nothing is composed of a spherical force field of emptiness where nothing exists. In the center of this force field, one could make out a young girl with long, silvery hair wearing a frilled dress. There is a constant expression of sorrow on the girl's face. The main protagonist of the story. She has a secret that she is a professional mangaka who draws shoujo manga. After an accident at school, Tomoya finds out her secret, and remembering some advice from her editor, she asked him for a date so that she could learn more and improve her work. However, throughout the series, she is easily embarrassed by having any contact with boys (especially Tomoya) and often turns either extremely red or melts into goo. Later on, she falls in love with Tomoya although she questions their relationship. She becomes jealous when Tomoya shoots a kissing scene with an actress (who is also a fan of Rena's works). Miroku wanted Shion to live a normal life and prevented her from learning about her true powers, and as such prevented her guards from teaching Shion any ninjutsu. But to protect her daughter, she left Shion a special bell which allows Shion to foresee her own death in the future and be able to prevent it. However, to save Shion's life, another one must usually be sacrificed in her place.
Maika is the oldest sister of the Yoshikawa family. She can use magic, and loves cooking for her brother and sisters. She has long lilac-coloured hair, often tied back with green ribbons. She is very protective of her brother Haruo, and was immediately suspicious of Ayumi's intentions. The others often accuse her of having a brother complex, which is not entirely unjustified. As a toddler she subliminally brainwashes Haruo in his sleep by chanting "Big Brother will stay with Maika" repeatedly, and her usually caring and ladylike-personality is replaced by a possessive jealousy whenever any female shows any closeness to her brother. Karin Maaka's father, Henry Marker is a vampire who is portrayed as surprisingly human; he seems to act in a way one might call 'silly.' Despite Karin's teenage status at age sixteen, Henry still views Karin as extremely young. Despite Karin's anomalies and flaws, he still loves her dearly: this is exemplified when Karin first suffered a nosebleed at a human school, Henry braved the sunlight to rescue Karin from the hospital workers, who would have realized she was a vampire upon examination, and is severely burned in the process. Henry suffers normal paternal jealousy when the possibility of love between Karin and Kenta Usui arises. Henry is often pushed about by his wife Carrera Marker, but has a fierce side which he rarely allows the world to see.
