A member of the Manga Society, Takayanagi is on friendly terms with the Genshiken members and is seen conversing with them from time to time on various matters. In one notable instance, he finds himself in the unenviable position in the middle of the battle between the girls of his club and Ogiue, who had attempted to join. He is much relieved when the Genshiken takes Ogiue in, as the other girls in Genshiken are already hated by the Manga Society girls for various reasons.

She is a new Trainer just starting out on her Pokémon journey and was on her way to Nuvema Town to get her Starter Pokémon from Professor Juniper. Sol is one of a number of Zeon soldiers stationed at a remote base. When White Base nears the base, a fellow soldier, Cuaran comes up with a plan to destroy the Gundam by placing bombs on it. Sol takes part in Cuaran's team, who are successful in attaching a half dozen bombs on the Gundam, but watch as Amuro is able to remove all of them. They drive by in civilian clothes afterwards and wish him and the other White Base crew good luck.
She is N's allies and have similar abilities for hearing the voices of Pokémon. Anthea and Helena debuted at the end of BW117, where they rescued N after he was injured fighting Colress and Team Plasma in a city. With Ash and his friends in tow, they took N to their secret refuge in the woods where they protect injured Pokémon. Anthea and Helena also appeared in the next episode, where they and N told Ash and company about their past with Team Plasma and Ghetsis. When several Plasma Grunts found their way into the refuge, Ash and his friends battled against the Grunts, and managed to subdue them. After this, N joined his foster sisters, and disappeared into the mist. When the mist faded, N, Anthea, and Helena were gone, and Ash and his friends found themselves on a wide field, where they saw the Dragonspiral Tower, towering a little distance away.
