Tsukuyo is a blonde-haired woman with a scar over her forehead and left cheek. One of the better known Hundred Blooms of Yoshiwara, a law enforcement squad of Yoshiwara that consists of all females, deployed by the Night King Hosen. Despite appearing to be a heartless person when approached by Odd Jobs when he arrives to Yoshiwara, throwing a fake kunai to their foreheads, she later becomes friends with them. She has a difficult past being orphaned as a child, only to be picked up and raised by a ruthless and deadly assassin, Jiraia. While the original motive for Jiraia was to instill every bit of despair and tragedy of his own life into Tsukuyo, of who he refers to as his art or perfect creation, Tsukuyo ended up growing attached to what he did not manage to do. That is "Friends, A Home, and Precious Things To Protect" as told by Jiraia. Her loyalty and home lies with Hinowa in the underground city of Yoshiwara. She has ties with Hinowa, who also helped raise her like an older sister/mother through her childhood. It is hinted by Jiraia (in Chapter 255/Episode 178) Hinowa and Seita (in Chapter 294) that she has romantic feelings for Gintoki. This is further supported by her scribbling out statements from Hinowa's and Seita's New Year's cards commenting how lonely she was when they heard Gintoki has gotten married and her inability to give him chocolates for Valentine's Day (in Episode 204). Tsukyo herself has confirmed that, while she doesn't quite know what they are or what to do with them, she has some feelings towards Gintoki. This was in episode 177 when she said to him, "When I am with you, my resolve weakens. Don't shake up my feelings any further."

Age: 20 The first Strike Witch and sub-commander of the unit, with the commissioned rank of Squadron Leader and official rank of Major. Mio is also the oldest witch at nineteen (later, twenty) years old and, like Yoshika, comes from Fuso. She is seemingly the toughest and most mature of the Witches, being an experienced veteran of the early fighting against the Neuroi. She knew Yoshika's father while he was first designing the Striker Unit and was the first person to pilot one. Mio's usual task is to train new recruits, and in this role she becomes a very strict disciplinarian, appropriately gaining the ears and tail of a Doberman when equipped with her Striker. Otherwise she is quite friendly, if a little too forward at times, with a very distinct laugh. Under Mio's eyepatch is a magic eye that grants her increased visual prowess and the ability to spot Neuroi cores when used. Being 19/20 years old however Mio's magical power has aged too far for her to erect effective shields in combat, however she can still fly and use her magical eye. Carries a 13mm Type99 Machine-gun into a battle along with a magical katana strapped to her back capable of cutting apart giant Neuroi. Her Striker Unit is based on the A6M Zero (in second season she receives a new Striker, based probably on the Kyuushuu J7W1 Shinden) and she herself is based on Saburo Sakai and Tetsuz� Iwamoto. She is tall and slender like an athlete, due to a hormone disorder during puberty. Isuzu is very self conscious about her looks while she feels her face is not ugly, but simply plain, her biggest concerns are her heavy freckles and thick unruly hair which cause her to be depressed. Isuzu describes herself as a "normal mass-produced bumpkin high school girl you could find anywhere." After being trapped in the Guild Hamelin she became close friends with Minori seeing her strength, despite the conditions they were forced to face, gave Isuzu the strength to carry on until the day the Hamelin children were rescued by Shiroe and company. Even after escaping Hamelin Isuzu continues to have great respect for Minori. Isuzu looks up to Serara as a sort of motherly figure for the younger members of the Crescent Moon Alliance.

Giovanni is the Team Rocket Boss and a former Viridian City Gym Leader. He is a very ambitious man and is intolerant of failure. Giovanni is shown to have access to vast wealth and resources. The money probably comes from Team Rocket's main source of income — the profit of selling stolen Pokémon. Giovanni also gains a lot of money from smuggling Pokémon, Pokéball trafficking, and other crime rackets. He has Team Rocket operations in both Kanto and Johto. Birthday: December 1st Karin is a very happy and lively kind of girl. She owns her own school club were her and the club members go out and search for mysterious things, such as aliens. She tries to get Takaki to join her club, but he declines. Soon after, they have a little accident were Takaki falls on top of Karin. Karin then makes him join her club after she semi-threatens him.
