Age: 17-18 Birthday: X767 Occupation: Mage Affiliation: Fairy Tail Guild Known relatives: Layla Heartfilia (Mother), Jude Heartfilia (Father) Magic: Celestial Spirit Magic Height: 165 cm BWH: 91-59-88 Lucy is a mage and the main female character of Fairy Tail, joining at the start of the main story line. Lucy's member stamp is located on the back of her right hand. At the beginning of the series, Lucy is an independent novice mage searching for a mage guild to join, particularly interested in Fairy Tail, which she claims as the strongest mage guild. Though she tells Happy she considered joining Fairy Tail's rival guild, Phantom Lord, due to their similar outrageous nature and personality, she is content with her decision of joining Fairy Tail. After being rescued by Natsu from the slave ship, she is invited to join the guild. Once joining Fairy Tail, Lucy becomes a member of Natsu's team. Lucy is one of the saner and more stable members of Fairy Tail, having common sense that other members of the guild seem to lack. She consistently points out Natsu's and others' idiocy. Lucy is also very confident in her appearance and sexiness, exuding a certain amount of vanity. Despite this superficial attitude, Lucy is passionate for literature and is in the process of writing her own novel about her adventures with Fairy Tail. She is a member of the Heartfilia family, one of the richest and most influential conglomerate families in the country of Fiore. However, due to her estranged relationship with her father and the death of her mother, she left home to follow her own path. It should also be noted that she was the only other person who had ever shut Gray and Natsu up without beating them up first. Natsu and Gray seem a little scared of her when she's under the weather, even if Lucy's magic is not as strong as theirs and can't force them into submission like Erza. Lucy practices Stellar Spirit magic, a skill which allows her to summon spirits from another world using Keys of the Gates. Her Stellar Spirits have varying levels of power, with different ones suited for different tasks. For example, Aquarius can control water, while Taurus has enormous strength. Along with her keys, she also carries a whip, which she is proficient with. Lucy explains to Natsu that Stellar Spirit mages have the potential to obtain extremely rare Gold Keys, which open the gates of the "Ecliptic Zodiac", and common, store-bought Silver keys. Each gold key has the Zodiac symbol of the one it is used to summon on it. According to Lucy, while there is a large number of silver keys, there are only 12 gold keys. Thus far in the series, Lucy has obtained 10 Gold Keys and 4 Silver Keys. She also summoned all of her Gold keys (5 of them at the time) and Plue at once, although it only lasted a few seconds, it showed her to be very powerful. Loki's previous owner was a very powerful mage, yet she could not summon more than one at a time. She is the daughter of "Heartfillia Konzern", one of the wealthiest families in her country. Her father went bankrupt due to some reason and went to work in a guild. Her father and mother met in the merchant guild Lucky, and he worked up his fortune from then on. After her arrival from spending 7 years stranded in Tenroujima with the help of Mavis, she found out her father had died several months before she arrived.

Lieutenant Makoto Yamamoto is another very strait-laced, by-the-books military man. Yamamoto is the first officer on the Soyokaze and tried mightily to interject an air of professionalism to the outfit. Constantly enraged by Tylor's lack of discipline and his loose command of the troops, Yamamoto spends much of his free time in the medic's office taking tranquilizers and making use of the neuro-cleanser. Yamamoto sees Tylor for what he is, a bumbling fool, but is torn between the unwritten soldier's code of supporting and obeying your superior officer, and telling the UPSF brass what is REALLY going on. He is always on the lookout for a chance to get some form of command, hoping to get a ship of his own one day.

Age: 28 Orbital Station #7 commander. She was married to Sako.

President of the Magic Club and 3rd year student at Kitanohashi High School. Takakura often has a tendency to show off in front of the girls and has perverted daydreams at inopportune times. He loves Sae, but will not admit his feelings because he is nervous and self-conscious of his position as Sae's mentor and upperclassman. Hiding from his childhood nemesis, Miyama, Takeo found a magical textbook called the Grimoire, along with the magic wand he later replicated.

Eruruu is the female protagonist, though there are other main female characters in the story. She was the first person Hakuoro meets when he wakes up after being found by her. She nurses Hakuoro back to health until he is strong enough to go walking outside, with much initial assistance provided by Eruruu and a walking stick. Later, she falls in love with Hakuoro. Eruruu has a forceful, but caring and gentle personality. She is named after a flower that only exists in the story. In the game and manga, she is often found displeased of her small breast size. Eruruu kisses Hakuoro before he is sealed, as he tells her that they will meet again and that she'll be waiting for him. At the end of the anime, she continues as a healer and is awaiting Hakuoro's return. In the last scene she turns around and sees someone or something, however it 's not shown clearly who it is. It's implied by many to be Hakuoro without Witsarunemitea's mask. In the game version, this is strongly implied as prior to that scene, Kuuya, Camyu and Aruruu are all shown acting as if they saw Hakuoro again. Eruruu's past self: Eruruu is the reincarnation of Mikoto who was an artificial being based from Iceman's body/blood. She was the only woman he ever loved and had a child with her, though they both were captured. She was later butchered by scientists for research. Her name is derived from the number 3510. The word Mikoto can also be pronounced as ''inochi'', meaning ''life''.

Kurou is the second-in-command of Benawi's cavalry. When the first emperor falls, he remains loyal to Benawi, and, in turn, to Hakuoro, to whom Benawi swears allegiance. Kurou tends to be a source of comedic relief of the anime, usually seen either arguing with Oboro, helping to plan military actions, training with his men in the courtyard or on the battlefield, by Benawi's side. His main weapon of choice is a thick longsword which he uses very effectively and with great skill in battle. He always calls Hakuro "Commander" when speaking to him, and always calls Benawi "General", even when Benawi's rank was taken by Nuwangi for a time. In the OVA, it is revealed that he has a thing for young, petite girls.
