So Fool revealed the details of the maneuver, and they tried it, fell, and died. Kalos' faith as a performer was tested, though, and he doubted. And after Arlon died, Kalos was consumed with guilt. He longs to revisit the village he grew up in, he has been stuck in the forest since he was a child.

Soon after meeting her mother Haruko and becoming friends with them, he is convinced into staying there. Yukito soon begins doing odd jobs for the local clinic after the doctor catches him doing his puppet show outside. It is here that Yukito becomes friends with Kano and Minagi; however, after getting to know them better he learns of their problems, which convinces Yukito to stay and help. After helping Kano and Minagi, Yukito finds out about Misuzu's illness, which is where she is unable to make friends because she'll begin crying uncontrollably. Yukito then leaves, deciding that if he leaves, Misuzu will get better; however, as he is about to leave, Yukito realizes his mistake and goes back to help. Here is when he realizes his and Misuzu's connection to the past and that Misuzu is the re-incarnation of the Winged Maiden. When Yukito finds Misuzu, she tells him of her last dream before falling asleep. Yukito then disappears in a bright light, causing Misuzu to wake up, seemingly better. Alibaba is a rather arrogant Rook. He strongly believes rank doesn't symbolize strength, and thinks his is on par with the Knights. Alibaba is largely Arabian themed.Alibaba first appears during the 3rd Round of the War Games. He is the first to go up when Alan wants to go first, claiming the other Chess Pieces there are too weak to fight him and that victory will make him a Knight. Alibaba opens the battle by summoning his Guardian. Alibaba is no match for Alan, however, and the Guardian is quickly defeated. Alan then carries Alibaba into a volcano and throws him into it. In the manga, he dies from this. In the anime, however, Alibaba lives, as Phantom used one of his Dimension ÄRM to bring Alibaba to safety. Alibaba then hunts down and captures the Princess of Reginlief. Alibaba is defeated again, however, through the efforts of Ginta Toramizu, Jack, and Loco and apparently dies. Alibaba, who once again survived, reappears during the end credits of the final episodes, cheering up Fuugi while he cries over the Princess of Reginlief's marriage to Carl.
