When things turn for the worse, Daichi’s cheerful personality supports Hibiki. Daichi is a deep thinker, often examining the social implications and morality of a situation farther than the other characters. Even though he seems spineless, he tends to cast away his cowardice in the blink of an eye when he is faced with extreme adversity. Unfortunately, his low self confidence limits him achieving even greater heights. He seems to do poorly in school, and to be forgetful at times; Forgetting his exam slip and cell phone at his seat at the beginning of the game. He dies in episode 12 after being consumed by the void along with Io.

She’s an honor student and considered a dream girl for many guys since she packs brains and beauty. Io is a polite, conserved girl often unsure of herself at times. She is noted to also have a penchant for books. Until the last two days of the game, she constantly apologizes and compromises, agreeing with others and never expressing her own views. As the story goes on, it is heavily implied that Io is romantically interested in the Protagonist. She however has a strange confidence about confessing her feelings on the matter though. On one hand, she is not afraid to tell the Protagonist that she is able to go on because he is there for her. She dies in episode 12 after consumed by the void along with Daichi.
Birthdate: January 18 Age: 15 Zodiac: Capricorn Height: 153 cm Controlled Demon: Cait Sith, Lorelei A first-year high school student living in Nagoya. She is passionate and active, but because of her family situation, she has a chip on her shoulder toward society. Airi is a cold character, often frank and unreserved about giving her opinions on matters or the people at hand. This is especially emphasized when she lashes out at Jungo or Hinako, the former for his "idiocy" and the latter as a part of her rivalry. Airi used to be a pianist who won awards in competitions. However, she had to quit her dream for her parents not having enough money to afford a music school and lessons for her. Despite being a non-dieable character, she dies in one of the explosions in episode 11.
Birthdate: November 2 Age: 26 Zodiac: Scorpio Height: 172 cm Weight: 53 kg Occupation: JP's Tokyo Branch Clerk Makoto seems to be frigid, strong, and serious woman. In reality, she is prone to doubting herself and has a good sense of manners. She is compassionate about helping and saving people to the point that, although being loyal to JP's, she questions the morality of their conduct. Makoto used to be a synchronized swimmer before an accident left her a scar that she's unable to perform. Her devotion to JP's comes from the fact that she believes that they saved her by giving her an opportunity to prove her worth when she gave up on herself. She dies in episode 12 while trying to protect Yamato from Alcor's attack.
Birthdate: September 9 Age: 24 Zodiac: Virgo Height: 162 cm Occupation: JP's Osaka Branch Clerk; Physician Otome has a warm personality and a kind heart. Despite appearing to be ditzy at times, she rarely loses her composure and remains as one of the more collected and mature characters of Devil Survivor 2 to the point of being the mother figure for JP's. She has a penchant for teasing the other major characters usually in the context of romance. Usually, it's teasing Makoto for her implied romantic interest for the Protagonist or, conversely, the Protagonist himself should the player show hints of a crush towards Otome. Makoto mentions that she always feels exhausted whenever Otome works together with Fumi. Along with Joe and Ronaldo, she is killed in episode 8 by the massive explosion after defeating Megrez.
Hair Color: White Eye Color: White Height: 170 cm The Anguished One is a major character that appears in Devil Survivor 2. The Anguished One has curly white hair and a very pale complexion. He is always squinting, giving him a sleepy appearance and white make-up/eyelashes around his eyes. He wears a red and black striped shirt with a frilled undershirt, having a design similar to the ship possessed by Alioth, along with matching shoes and black pants. In Devil Survivor 2 The Animation character model, his shoes' pattern is different from original design. While in original design his shoes has the same pattern as his cloth, in anime character model the shoes are coloured half-black and half-red with the half-black part located nearer to middle side of his body. His true form as a Septentrione takes the appearance of a cube with red and black stripes not unlike his shirt, encased in a blue frame. When he shifts into a different form, it resembles a crystal with the same red and black striped pattern, with wires wrapped around the middle. He has a strange fascination with people. Although he has a very sinister appearance, and his motives can come across as evil, he is actually a very kind person. The Anguished One is very fond of the protagonist to the point where he takes everything he says seriously, even if it is obvious to other people that the protagonist is joking. Excelling in science, her hobby is gathering data. She often lacks common sense and morals when she is deeply indulged in her research. She has a sharp disdain for explaining things in a streamlined, layman's manner and especially dislikes it when people don't understand her explanations no matter in what manner it's given. Fumi is shown to be quite confident of her abilities to excel at whatever she decides to dedicate time to. Despite being a non-dieable character, she dies in one of the explosions in episode 11.
