Age: 15 The daughter of a wealthy family and Komomo's best friend. Initially, she was very hateful towards Komomo, as she thought she would try to usurp her position of "Queen of the Class." She, and a group of girls from their class, bullied Komomo constantly; stealing her chair, placing funeral flowers (White Chrysanthemums) on her desk, and writing insults there as well. This plan backfired when the other girls took a liking to Komomo and instead began harassing Rise. Surprisingly, Komomo was the first to stand up to the girls and helped Rise, who then wanted nothing else than to become Komomo's friend. Early on, she is shown to have a crush on a boy who frequents her family's store. With Komomo's help, she asks him out on a double date. The date turns sour when the two boys drug Komomo and attempt to take "dirty pictures" of her and Rise. They are soon rescued by Natsu and Yuri, who Rise falls in love with. In chapter 29, Rise gives Yuri a gift and confesses to him.
Magical Roe is a clown who was Snow's babysitter when she was younger by order of Diana. While being Snow's caretaker, he quickly became Snow's best friend, and the two grew very close to each other. Years later, Magical Roe was sent into the War Games in order to kidnap Snow. During this round, he tells Snow that he didn't join the Chess Pieces, he was with them from the start. After Snow used Undine to destroy Magical Roe's Nightmare, he successfully made off with Snow during the 6th Round, much to his reluctancy. Thus, Magical Roe won by default. While Team MÄR stormed Lestava Castle, Magical Roe fought off Nanashi, Alan, and Gaira to prevent them from reaching Snow. In the anime adaption, instead he fought Alan and Ginta Toramizu, and after defeat, Magical Roe regained his senses, and sacrificed his life in order to save Snow from the Queen's Darkness ÄRM, attoning for his wrongdoings towards the princess.Little is known about Magical Roe's personality, besides that he cares deeply for Princess Snow.

Upon killing the Gaksital, Lee Kang-To unmasks the Gaksital only to find out that the Gaksital was actually his beloved brother, who was faking to be mentally unstable to avoid suspicion. It is later revealed that Kimura Kenji murdered Lee Kang-To's mother which triggered the Gaksital to attempt to murder Kenji. Upon regret for all the sins he's committed, Lee Kang-To seeks redemption and revenge. Lee Kang-To goes to the mountains, looks over the land of Seoul, Korea and puts on his brother's bridal mask, and becomes the Gaksital.
