Maya's first love. He's one of the actors in Ten no Kagayaki where Maya plays Satoko. They start dating although not for too long. He's an idol and some of his fans try to hurt Maya.

One of the Hachiy, he is the Byakko of Heaven. Takamichi is a nobleman, and he works in the government as the Vice Minister of Civil Affairs.

Akagi is introduced as a deceptively adult looking young boy, whose spark of genius transcends age and resides in gambling, especially in the game mahjong. After gaining mythical status at 13, he disappears for 5 years and resurfaces to become a legendary figure in the whole of Japan. Akagi is really determined. He doesn't value material goods, and to an extent, his own life, but he does value himself and what he can do. As such, he throws everything he's got into anything he does. There is no halfway for Akagi. Playing against him is basically war, and he's willing to do anything to win. He believes in himself. In a one-on-one situation, Akagi is aiming to completely break his opponent psychologically. He's incredibly insightful and observant (like figuring out someone's personality and subconscious issues by how they play mahjong , and adapts how he plays to specifically get where it hurts most. He'll call ridiculous bluffs, pretend he's losing, sacrifice his own win status, and otherwise lay on the pressure to get the other guy to crack. Akagi's got an impressive grasp on human psychology. He's also a meticulous planner when it comes down to it. He utilizes techniques other gamblers don't dare to, in order to sway his opponents: brazen cheating, extremely risky maneuvers, far fetched bluffs, a blatant disregard for his own life. These actions make him a heretic among "ordinary" men, yet allow him to unflinchingly defeat his opponents with a level of play that is marked as godly. His irrationality is probably his biggest strength as a gambler. Akagi is currently seeking out a battle where he can bet his own utter destruction and he wants to keep on going until either him or the opponent is completely, utterly broken. In Ten: Tenhou-doori no Kaidanji Akagi becomes much older, he joins Hiro and Ten in the tournament playing for the east team. He drops out in the tag team round due to a technicality. Elderly Akagi values preserving himself above all including his life. After the nine year time skip at the end of Ten it is revealed that Akagi has Alzheimers disease, he decides to kill himself in order to preserve his consciousness instead of slowly rotting away. Akagi invites all the players from the East Vs West showdown to a vigil to share their last words with him before he commits suicide. On the night of the vigil Akagi preforms a miracle in front of Soga by matching up nine face down mahjong tiles perfectly. After speaking giving his final words to everyone Akagi ends his life with a smile on his face. Akagi's grave becomes a popular attraction for mahjong players from across Japan. Visitors would chip off a small piece of his tombstone and use it to bring them good luck. Despite having always been a serious fellow Akagi lives on smiling in the minds of his friends.

After a day, he arrives at her school and whisks her away to the shrine, which she is unable to escape from. Unlike other snakes, he was apparently raised in a greenhouse and has little knowledge of how most snakes behave. Mizuki is also very lonely because his god has vanished; she once existed when people visited the shrine and believed in her, but now no one lives in the valley and she has dwindled away to nothing. However, he still believes that she exists and will return. As a result, he wants Nanami to live with him forever at his shrine, but when she refuses he tries to rape her and is interrupted by Tomoe. It is revealed that the shrine is an illusion meant to hide his god's favorite plum tree, which Mizuki treasured. Nanami promised to come look at the blossoms with him whenever he felt lonely. Like Kurama he seems to still be harboring a crush on Nanami, and even comes to cook for her when she's ill. In chapter 23 Mizuki decided to become Nanami familiar making a contract by kissing her while she slept. (Source: Wikipedia)
