Angol Moa is the "King of Terror", who is ditzy and insecure as a result of her impact from space. She was sent to planet Earth to arrive in July 1999 for Earth's destruction, as predicted by Nostradamus, under orders from her father. She states during her first appearance that she told Nostradamus to deliver a message to the humans warning them of her arrival. In the anime, she arrives 500 years too early and takes a nap in orbit, until she wakes up in 2004, 5 years too late. In the manga, she lands near Fuyuki, while in the anime, she lands on Giroro's tent. In both, she is taken into the Hinatas' home, where she is nursed back to health by Natsumi. When she wakes up, she reveals her true form and starts to destroy the Earth, until Keroro, who arrives later, is persuaded by Fuyuki to stop Mois. The Angols use seemingly magical weapons to destroy planets. Her weapon is the "Lucifer Spear", which, when not in use, looks and functions like a cellphone. When she is using her attack, "Hellmageddon", the Lucifer Spear becomes a golden staff with a crescent moon on one end and a meteor on the other end. She uses the meteor end to initiate Hellmageddon. She is close friends with Keroro, who she calls oji-sama, which means, roughly, "uncle". Whenever she sees anyone hitting Keroro is any way, she transforms and uses a watered down version of Hellmageddon, which usually catches others, including Keroro, in the blast. Tamama often competes with her for Keroro's attention (and affection). Her transformation sequences, stylized costume, and related accessories may make her a parody of the magical girl genre. As an added note, Mois' Pekopon form wears a hair clip explicitly in the shape of the Science Patrol's Ryuusei-mark in the anime (while the girl whose form/soul she "borrowed" has a Ultra Garrison-mark hair clip). Her name is frequently used in puns on the Japanese phrase moe-moe, which usually refers to a cute girl who appeals to older members of the audience. To blend in with the Earth people, Mois also transforms into a tanned, bleached-blonde teenage kogal who is always seen in a school uniform and loose socks. Her true form is a pale gray-haired girl who wears a purple-and-white magical girl costume. Although the King of Terror, she is anything but terrifying. She's sweet, clumsy, and peppy but can be scary when she's in Angol form, and uses her Lucifer Spear to split the Earth. She got her Earth-look from when she first arrived in 1999 (2004 in the anime), before she met the Hinatas. In the anime she saw a teenage girl (named Masami) who was beating up some thugs in order to protect her friends. Amazed by her courage, she decided to be like that girl and chose her appearance as her Earth-form. Tsukushi Makino is the main female character, and is one of the very few students at the prestigious Eitoku University to come from an "unwealthy" family. Her family is so poor that they can barely afford to pay Makino's tuition, but her parents push her on to continue school because they have a dream that she can "snag a rich man" and take them out of poverty. At the beginning of the manga, Makino was a poor, pig-tailed girl who had almost no friends at school and kept to herself. When one of her only friends falls down a staircase and bumps in the leader of the F4, Makino stands up for her friend (Domyoji was about to hurt her for bumping into him) and suffers the consequences. The next day, a red tag is hanging in her locker, which predicts future torment from the F4 and followers. But, unlike most of the F4's targets, Makino stands up for herself, showing how strong a "weed" can be. In this process, she changes to let her stubborn, hardworking ways show through, and in the end she turns all of the F4 into her friends. At first, Makino hates all of the F4 except Hanazawa Rui, (which she has romantic feelings towards). But, as Rui goes off to chase after Shizuka, Makino gets to know them, and even slowly falls in love with the hotheaded leader, Domyoji.

Domyouji Tsukasa is the leader of the F4. At the beginning of the series, he is Makino's biggest enemy, but as the story progresses, he becomes her love interest. Tsukasa is the heir to Domyoji Enterprises, and his family is extremely rich. They own various houses around the world, including an actual island, a house in Canada, and a house in New York City where his parents stay. Domyouji grew up somewhat lonely, as his parents were always overseas, and his sister—as loving as she could be—was either busy studying or, later in life, married and moved to Los Angeles. Also, his mother, Kaede, is cold to him, and although she loves him, wants to control his life. Tsukasa sometimes calls her "the old hag" and "witch". Before he met Makino, he was violent and ill-tempered, but after he became loyal and nice. As Tsukasa first started off being hard and tough to get though to; the author of Hana Yori Dango showed us thoughout the anime and manga that anyone who starts off being hard can also find their soft side because of love and that is shown though Tsukasa Domyouji.

Kazuya is another one of Tsukushi's childhood friends. He enrolls at Eitoku after his family comes into money through some real-estate deals. The other students at Eitoku draw a sharp distinction between Kazuya's "new money" and their "old money." The F4 in particular mention this difference fairly often. Tsukushi is both relieved to have a friend at Eitoku, and worried for Kazuya's safety if he continues to hang around her. She is particularly worried about Domyoji, who clearly considers Kazuya a romantic threat. Kazuya is fiercely loyal to and harbors romantic feelings for Tsukushi, but also relatively clueless and not very quick to pick up on things. He is not featured in the drama. (Source: Wikipedia)
