Age: 15 Occupation: Adventurer Alignment: Hero Sonic the Hedgehog, nicknamed the "Blue Blur," is well-known for his speed which is called "second to none." He made his first appearance in the game "Sonic the Hedgehog" for the Sega Genesis in 1991. Though he enjoys lazing around and simply enjoying himself, most of the games focus on the main antagonist Dr. Robotnik attempting to take over the world, only to be stopped by Sonic and occasionally several of his friends everytime. His best friend is Miles Prower, more commonly called Tails. Acting as somewhat of a sidekick and slowly maturing into more of a partner as the games go on, the young fox has a knack for inventing things and other machinery. Lots of times he'll also team up with Knuckles the Echidna, guardian of the Master Emerald. He's been called his rival on several occasions and the two get along well (most of the time). Sonic is prideful and hates to be constrained, enjoying freedom and doing things at his own pace (which is always incredibly fast). Though he is cocky and rather impatient, he is someone who would never turn their back on a friend in need or to protect the greater good (on several occasions performing actions that nearly result in his death). Sonic mainly fights by curling into a ball and spinning at high speeds (known as the Spinball, Spin Dash, etc). He is also a master in Capoeira (a Brazilian martial art)

Galden is the main antagonist for the majority of the show. Near the middle/end of the show he cuts his ties with Idoro, and continues fighting on his own. Then in episode 44 he falls under the control of a hell dragon woman, though in the end he overcomes her spell and gets injured fighting for, or with the other Ryus and nearly dies. After this most of the Ryu riders accept that he might be a good guy after all, all except Sarutobi. Who cannot forgive Galden for stealing his spirit stone. But in the next fight Galden returns the stone to Sarutobi, gaining Sarutobi's trust only after he appears to die. As it turns out he did not die but was saved by the white dragon and comes to help fight in the last big battle of the series. After which he says that he is going to try going to the country in which he was born. Then decide what to do after that. The last time we see Galden he is walking away with his back to the group and waving.

A fourteen year old girl with long peach colored hair, Kuu is the youngest of the Orla family and is often seen wearing a completely black dress. While she has a bishjo appearance, she carries a wicked tongue, and appears to be more mature than Sui, often complaining that she has to look after him, and may never to be able to become a bride because of this. Like her brother Sui, she wields a Rule Fragme known as "The Scythe of Ailuchrono. The artifact is in the shape of a large scythe, and rapidly increases the wielder's strength and speed, allowing Kuu to easily match up to Ferris's speed. The blade also has the ability to freeze anyone who comes into contact with it, and Kuu manages to use this ability to stop Sui from bleeding to death. As a side effect, the artifact "freezes" the wielder's heart as well and Kuu will lose all her emotional capacity when she's wielding it.
