Although quite shallow in certain aspects, his loyalty, braveness and innocence stand out as some of his more positive traits. Perhaps the most driving aspect of his character, is his belief that his father will return to him one day, thus motivating him to become one of the most famous swordsmen in the world. He was originally the son of an unknown swordsman. His parents were killed while he was young, and he was adopted by an elderly family. Soon after, an inferno killed his adoptive parents, and he wandered around as a street boy. One month before the series began, he was found by Ge Nie, who took him under his wing. It is later revealed that he was struck with the Yin and Yang curse for a long time and that causes him insanity, thus motivating Ge Nie to find a person to cure him. It was later revealed that Jing Tianming`s father is actually Jing Ke. The assassin that failed to assassinate King Qin. His mother is said to be named Li Ji. His first martial art skill is learned in Season 3 from Manager Ding. The skill is called 'Knife of Dismembering Cows'. Even though the skill involves the usage of a knife and Tianming wants to learn sword techniques. He was persuaded by Manager Ding's legendary cooking of food. The negotiation of Tianming having to learn the technique before eating the food is what caused Tianming to learn the skill. He was able to defeat 8 men with the skill except with usage of the Anti-War Weapon (a sword). Other skills or martial arts being used before Season 3 was already self-taught and learnt before the series started. It should be noted that even though Tianming is thought by others to be of mediocre intellect he is actually quite clever, and does not seem very smart due to a lack of education. Devimon is a Fallen Angel. He was once an Angemon, but soon the space of the Digital World became distorted, and he fell into the newly-formed Dark Area and became the fallen angel we see today. IceDevimon is his ice counterpart. Devimon was known as Darkmon in the Tamagotchi Digimon virtual pets and is also known as the Dark Messenger. Digimon Adventure: Etemon was the first major foe other than Nanomon the Chosen Children had to battle with after their arrival at the Server Continent. With the help of his Dark Network, it was able to monitor everything which happens in its territory. In the end, it fused with the Dark Network and was defeated due to Greymon evolving to MetalGreymon. However, it was revived as MetalEtemon due to its own will power but was ultimately defeated by Zudomon's Hammer Boomerang and SaberLeomon. MetalSeadramon rules the Net Ocean and presides over the "Deep Savers", an aquatic army including Scorpiomon and four Divermon. He is very arrogant and short-tempered, easily losing his temper when his enemies get the best of him. MetalSeadramon prefers to kill his foes, rather than have make sport them, and unlike the other Dark Masters, who enjoy executing their minions for its own sake, MetalSeadramon only executes his henchman when they fail him
