Aerith Gainsborough is a character from the Final Fantasy VII series who is portrayed as kind and gentle, eager to help her friends to the best of her ability. She is typically seen wearing a pink ribbon in her hair, a pink dress with short brown coat, and brown boots. In the game Crisis Core, she wears a white sleeveless dress. She is also one of Cloud's potential love interests. She was previously dating and in love with Zack Fair. She is first introduced as a flower girl, and she briefly converses with Cloud Strife, a mercenary who is fleeing from the bombing of a Mako reactor by himself and AVALANCHE. The two later meet at the church in the Sector 5 slums, when he falls down from the plate and through the roof of the church. Later, when faced with the possibility of being captured by the Turks, the two join forces to escape. As he reminds her of Zack Fair, she asks him to be her bodyguard in return for one date. She is eventually captured by Shinra and taken to the science lab, however Cloud and friends infiltrate the building and save her. She then joins them in the pursuit of Sephiroth, while embarking on a journey of self-discovery as well. After a failed attempt to foil Sephiroths theft of the Black Materia, she ventures alone into the Forgotten City for as yet unknown reasons. Cloud and his companions follow after her, eventually finding her praying at an altar. As she looks up to smile at Cloud, however, Sephiroth appears and kills her by impaling her through the torso. The materia given to her by her mother, which she wore in her hair, falls from the altar into the water and was lost. After fighting an incarnation of Jenova, Cloud carries her body out into a lake in the Forgotten City, and releases her back to the Planet. The party later learns the reason for her being in the Forgotten City; through her mothers materia, now known as the 'White Materia', she was able to summon Holy, the ultimate White Magic, and the only force capable of repelling the ultimate Black Magic, Meteor. Even though she successfully managed to cast Holy before her death, it was held back by the sheer force of Sephiroths will. When he was finally defeated and Holy was released, it appears that it was too late to function as effectively as it should, for Meteor - already summoned by Sephiroth and set on a collision course with the Planet - had come too near the Planet's surface. While Holy clashes with Meteor, attempting to prevent its impact, the gravity of both Meteor and Holy pulling on the spell in opposite directions weakens it, leaving it with too little room to take effect. The Lifestream then flows forth from within the planet, intervening with Holy and Meteor, and acting as a battering ram while aiding in the destruction of Meteor. This scene is followed by a vision of Aerith within the Lifestreams energy. She later makes several appearances in the CGI film, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. As Cloud's spiritual guide, she urges him to move on in life, to forgive himself for the tragedies that were beyond his control and to tell him that she never blamed him for her death. During several flashes, she speaks to Cloud in an open meadow laden with flowers, cheerfully and kindheartedly poking fun at how he needlessly burdens himself with the past, but also acknowledging his suffering and offering kind words of support. Towards the end of the movie, somehow she causes it to rain, the water curing the victims of the Geostigma when they come into contact with it. Misae Sagara is the resident manager at Youhei's dorm. Her age is unknown, as it is redacted in the visual novel, yet it is probably between 23 and 29. She was Hikarisaka's first female student council president when she was in high school. She achieved a full week of perfect attendance for the whole student body and she was loved by the students. Misae is friendly with the dorm students but strict when it comes to the dorm rules. She is also well-liked by the rugby members. Depending on decisions, Tomoya can change her to a violent dorm lady through his lecture, which is her original personality, who uses brute force to convince the dorm students to do their cleaning duty. Misae is waiting for her lover to return, which is actually her cat–Katsuki Shima. When Tomoya tries to pursue Misae, the cat gives Tomoya a dream about Misae's past. When Misae was still in high school, she met a boy named Katsuki Shima who insisted in granting her wish as a payment for encouraging him to recover. Misae's reluctance on having her wish granted and Katsuki's persistence eventually have their feelings for each other develop further, which also made her elected as the student council president due to her rumors with Katsuki. However, Katsuki realizes that his true identity is not Katsuki but his cat, who gave him the duty of granting Misae a wish before dying. Being conflicted with his duty and his love for Misae, he insisted her on having her wish granted. After announcing her wish on having Katsuki forever loving Misae, Katsuki obliged. Katsuki returned to his cat form, and waited for Misae like usual. Noticing the cat's fondness on her, Misae takes the cat as her pet, without knowing the cat's identity as her lover. At the town's festival, Tomoya tells Misae about her cat's true identity.
Tomoya finds out Rena's secret when she suddenly runs into him. She asks him to be her pretend boyfriend to learn about relationships, but does he have his own agenda? He is extremely popular at school with the girls, and even though many have asked him out, his reply was always no. It is hinted that his older sister, who is a famous mangaka, influenced his personality. When Rena asked him why he didn't have a girlfriend, this was his reply: "I'm only going to date someone I'm interested in." The truth was that he was talking about Rena. Tomoya became mad when Rena told him that he seems to be a main hero of a sh�jo manga because he wants her to see him as a real person. He also confesses his love to Rena. In the future, Tomoya marries Rena and they have a son named Hiroki.
The main character. A boy with glasses that usually ends up as the straight man when dealing with his club mates at the Life counseling section. He got involved with the club when the president of the Journalism Club Ayaka Nikaido convinced him to join as a way of improving his social interactions.
Emi Murakami is the president of the school's Arts Club. After all of the club's other members leave to join the Manga club she is befriended by Ikumi Suzuki and joins the Second Newspaper Club. Emi has an eccentric, irrational personality which is what allows her to become such good friends with the childish Ikumi. She seems to have a perverted side to her personality and often tries to get other people to strip naked or to even get naked herself. She also tends to get extremely excited and intensely passionate when painting, even threatening to harm anyone who dares interrupt her.
Ness is a young boy from Onett, characterized by his love of American things, such as baseball and steak. He also possesses psychic abilities strong enough to affect cosmic events, such as altering the course of the future. Ness' mother cooks for Ness and his friends, and allows them to rest. His father supports him over the phone by recording his progress and depositing money into his cash account. His sister, Tracy, stores items for the group, by way of Escargo Express. Ness is primarily a supportive PSI user rather than an attacker. Unlike his appearance in the Super Smash Bros. (series) series, Ness is unable to use PSI Fire, PSI Thunder, PSI Magnet, or PSI Starstorm, although they were added into his move list to allow for a wider arrange of attacks. He is, however, capable of using the PSI Flash move, which is capable of instantly defeating foes at the zenith of its power, regardless of their defenses, as well as a myriad of other status effects if the attack connects. Ness' only offensive PSI ability is a psychokinetic wave named for whatever the player chose as their "favorite thing" in the beginning of the game, the default name being PSI Rockin.
