Juvia made up 1/4th of the Phantom Lord's elite group, Element 4. She was sent by the guild master Jose, along with Sol, to go and capture Lucy and bring her back to him safely. Her magic seems to deal with water as she is able to control rain and other large bodies of water. In addition, her body is formed of water, leaving her intact and able to reform herself after attacks. Her nickname is also Juvia of the Sea, which correlates with her water controlling magic. When angry she can also control hot water. Juvia also often refers to herself in the 3rd person. Juvia has developed a deep love for Gray, and due to a misunderstanding, views Lucy as her rival in love. After being defeated by Gray, the rain above her finally clears up which she thought was beautiful. After the fight, her deep infatuation with Gray continues,and she secretly followed him when she was unsure of approaching him. In the Tower of Heaven arc, she mentions to Gray that she is now an independent mage once more, but Gray notes that she has probably has her eyes set on Fairy Tail. She is quite willing to do anything for him. When Juvia is upset rain surrounds her. She is the only member of the Element 4 to be shown after the Phantom Guild arc. She is a high school student of Central High School. Her real name is unknown. She is overly conscious with the proximity of high school boys to her and often thinks too hard of what to do to escape the situation. In the train though, she decides to tease boys who happen to stand or seat near her by moving away. The main trio each had a chance encounter with her; all of them subsequently making her feel more conscious about herself. She is an acquaintance of Yassan.
Franz is a member of the 104th Trainees Squad. Franz first appears Ch.3 in walking through Trost District with Eren and Hannah. Eren refers to Hannah and Franz as a couple, which they both embarrassedly deny. At some point following the breach of the Wall by the Colossal Titan, Franz is attacked by a Titan. He is bitten in half and dies. Armin finds Hannah futilely attempting CPR on what remains of Franz's corpse. He tells her it's useless, and advises her to retreat to the Wall before it's too late. Her efforts to resuscitate him are futile, as he has been bitten in half. Armin advises her to give up and retreat back to Wall Rose; then, unable to bear the carnage any longer, flees. As she has not appeared since, it is unknown whether or not she took his advice and survived or remained and perished. OVER is the ruthless third member of "Four Heavenly Kings", the four elite members of Tsuru Tsurulina IV's Hair Hunting corp. (whom also includes Gunkan, Purupu and Halekulani) Unlike many Hair Hunters outside those seen much earlier in the series, OVER takes his job of ripping the hair out of the subjects of the Maruhage Empire extremely seriously and will treat all in his gaze as prey. This harshness for his job includes the treatment of his own teammates, as seen by his scalping of both Gunkan and Kitty Poo after their failures against Bo-bobo and the Hajike rebels. Although OVER can and will attack with little or no notice, he mostly controls his hair hunting activities from an ancient Japanese castle, where he controls a platoon of various ninja-like warriors including The Five Hidden Killers (dub: The Ultimate Five Assassins), who themselves are known for their stealth and abilities. He has noticeably long white hair and eyebrows with pointy ears and long chin. He wears a short black jacket that reveals his chest and white pants.

Her hairstyle represents a fish's fins. While Goro was on vacation the air circulation pump stopped and Ran was unable to get enough oxygen and so she drowned, because of this she is afraid of water, gaining Hydrophobia; a fear of water. Her name means orchid. Throughout the anime, she gains the most screen time and is used in advertising the show more than the other angels. In fact, the series opens with her death as a goldfish and not the other angels' deaths as pets. She also is romantically in love with Goro. Also, throughout the anime it's noticed that in cases involving Goro's heart, she often gets very sensitive. Tsubasa also notes and comments upon the fact that Ran's feelings surpass her own, and vows to bring Ran and Goro together. Ran is one of the first 3 angels that appeared in the series.
