During the Red Caps' assault on Aisora City she is able to simultaneously control four Red Cap failures whose minds had become completely ruined by the experiments to create them. This proved to be a double edged sword as her control over them was so powerful that she began to feel their pain and eventually mimic any injuries they sustained on her own body. A rocket engineer that bears a resemblance to Alphonse Elric and befriends Edward in the movie. He is fascinated by Ed's stories about his travels around his original world, but is unsure of whether he can believe in the fact that Ed came from another world where alchemy is real, and his brother looks like him. He is studying under the father of modern rocketry, and wants to prove the scientific worth of his fellow Germans by inventing a rocket that can actually be ridden. He also has his own reasons to do it as fast as possible - he is slowly succumbing to an unspecified disease that eventually causes him to cough up blood. This is most likely Tuberculosis as it fits all his symptoms and makes him keeping it a secret make much more sense.

Rokka is a five year old witch, who has the ability to use transformation magic, allowing her to turn into what she pleases, though she has not yet mastered this technique. Rokka fell in love with Ichî, and followed him into the human world to enter the magic exams, so that she may see him. Her partner for the exams was Gô, who is also her caretaker. She often transforms into an older more beautiful version of herself to try and make Ichî fall for her, sadly her efforts are in vain. In the sequel, there is a two year time skip, so Rokka is now 7. She follows Ichî to the human world once again when he takes the second part of the exams. Since she is not eligable to enter this time, she plans on helping Ichî pass the exams. Rokka is often jealous of Ichî's close relationship with Nina, and often insults Nina for that reason. In the sequel she is no longer jealous of Nina, but is still not very fond of her. Her constant bratty attitude makes her a rather amusing character, as does her constant chase after her beloved Ichî. In the epilogue, Rokka's attempts of over 10 years to make Ichî love her, finally succeed. She marries Ichî, and they have a daughter together.

Rill, known as Riru in the anime, is an examiner of the Magic Exams, who is able to use future magic. He and his familia, Ruby, are first introduced when giving Nina the potion to remove the Crystal Pearl. Although a minor character, his actions prove to be quite important to the story. In the second series, Rill comes back and informs Nina that if she wishes for her friends to remain in the magic exams, that she must break up with Zero. Rill shows her her possible future if she breaks up with Zero. He is later seen at the Magical Examination Headquarters. He often serves treats to the Chairman.
