Juri was a prominent practitioner of Taekwondo when she was 15. Her father was a lawyer in charge of prosecuting organized crime operations. In this capacity, Shadoloo was his next target, causing her family to be kidnapped by that very organization. During the ordeal, Juri lost her parents and her left eye. S.I.N. eventually gave her a new eye, powered by the Feng Shui System. She has a very strong rivalry with Chun-Li and Cammy. M. Bison apparently seems to go after her most likely due to Seth's intervention of the S.I.N. organization. Shortly after working for Seth, she turns on him to kill both Bison and Seth. In the end she confronts Bison, who had just beaten Seth, and while the battle is not seen, she appears to live from the battle. She approaches Seth and taunts him on him being a spare body for Bison before killing him by stomping on his Tandem Engine, revealing that she planned to become the new leader of S.I.N. Flamberge's Keykeeper. He has sharp blue eyes and long side-swept brown hair. He and Flam do not share a very warmhearted relationship, and will often use the phrase "Keep your mouth shut, you piece of junk" in response to Flam's endless accusations of being a pervert, making it almost something of a catchphrase for him. Rather than reading the Phantom Books he retrieves from the Long-Lost Library, he places them in the Staff of Surtr that he carries, and uses the book as fuel for the fire the staff produces, burning any Phantom Books he comes across along with the memories the current owner had in relation to them. Thus, because of this, he refers himself as a "Libricide Officer". Roughly a hundred cities fell to him in his long years of service, during which he did not suffer a single loss. The only places where his name has yet to reach are the distant lands of Yan and Qin because Chu and Qin have not fought against each other in the last twenty to thirty years. Kanmei rose quickly the military ranks in the state of Chu, thanks to his incredible strength. At some point in the past, � Kotsu, one of the Six Great Generals of Qin, attempted to invade the state of Chu. Kanmei stood against him and, despite still being a young general at the time, managed to wound him with just one swing of his sword, forcing the great general to retreat hastily. Since then, Kanmei has fought against many formidable opponents and has come out victorious every time. For that reason, he has bestowed upon himself the title of "the strongest man in China".
