Reinforce is a key character in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's, who reveals herself near the end. She does not appear in either Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha or the alternate universe shown in the Triangle Heart series. She is voiced by Sanae Kobayashi. The former Book of Darkness and creator of the Wolkenritter (Signum, Vita, Shamal and Zafira), Reinforce was reformed by Hayate Yagami and became her partner. Reinforce is a Lost Logia and an intelligent creation of Belkan mages whose names have been lost to time. In Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, she is reformatted into the much smaller Reinforce II. Hayate, inside a void in the Book's separate dimension, opens her eyes, but the Book tells her to go back to sleep and escape the tragic reality. She could stay with her friends forever, but it would not be real... Hayate cries out that she did not want this at all. Absorbing the knowledge of the Book of Darkness, she realizes the truth of everything that has been going on behind her back, the innocence of Nanoha and Fate and the sadness of the Wolkenritter. That cannot be forgotten, Hayate asserts. She is the mistress, and the Book has to do what she says. Just as the Book has Nanoha cornered, Hayate takes control of her body again so that Nanoha can disable it and Hayate gives the Book a new name, "Reinforce." (Source: Wikipedia)
Mariam has a wild spirit, with an even wilder sense of humor. Her sarcasm often gets under Dunga's skin and she rarely lets an opportunity to give him a jab slip by, especially when he's fighting any battle. She is unpredictable, and often leaves her opponents baffled from her unique moves. Her ability to confuse her opponents leaves them vulnerable for attack. She often teams up with her brother Joseph to take on their more difficult opponents. Together, they are a formidable pair. Her bit-beast is Sharkrash. She was so absorbed in her destiny-to seal the sacred bit-beasts-that she forgot about the beyblading spirit. Only after her battle with Max, did she realize the true spirit of a Beyblader. The heroine of the story. She joines ACROSS immediately after graduating from high school. Excel's principal virtues are her energy and loyalty to ACROSS' mission, and her single-minded infatuation with Lord Il Palazzo. Despite this, Excel is incompetent in her position and rarely succeeds in her missions, even by accident. Excel is hyperactive and energetic, and is known to talk so fast and inconsistent that people around her find her difficult to understand, an example being that even though Il Palazzo admires her energy, he states that he has no idea what she's talking about most of the time. One notable characteristic of Excel is that she often talks in third person, even when speaking about herself. Excel also dies quite often, especially in the first episode, and she is being resurrected several times by The Great Will of the Macrocosm. Menchi is her emergency food supply, even though she luckily never actually eats her. While Excel's given name and family name are both "Excel" in the anime adaptation, "Excel" is merely her codename in the original manga. She also uses a false name, Hanako Dosukoi, a few times. Her actual name has not yet been revealed.
Lord Il Palazzo (Italian for "The Palace") as he is formally known by his underlings, is the leader of ACROSS, a secret ideological organisation dedicated to world conquest. Il Palazzo believes that the world has become corrupt, and seeks to conquer it to save the ignorant masses from themselves. In fact, he often prefaces his orders and speeches by proclaiming "the world is corrupt!". A recurring gag during the anime is that, despite all his scheming, Il Palazzo really has nothing to do while Excel and Hyatt are out on missions: he is often seen pursuing surprisingly ordinary hobbies like learning to play the guitar and arranging domino blocks. These notwithstanding, Il Palazzo is no ordinary human being, as testify his yellow, cat-eyes and seemingly supernatural powers exhibited in episode 25. Mao is the girl with pink hair who defends Japan from the ground by using a tank (the tank was officially named 'White Tiger,' but she refers to it as 'Mee-kun' for reasons unknown). As revealed in assorted Physical Education scenes, she is a very slow runner. Also, going by a statement she makes during the sports fest, she has no mother. Her clover pin is green. Brash, self-centered, and noisily infatuated with Matsuya and Ropponmatsu Unit 1, Iwata is generally disliked but tolerated by his neighbors and co-workers. His tendency to make inappropriate statements towards women and his rivalry with Ropponmatsu Unit 2 often lead to him being physically assaulted. In volume eight of the manga, Iwata suddenly dies of colon cancer, but is promptly resurrected, with his brain given an android replica body by Shioji.
