Birthday: December 25 Age: 8 (Beginning) 16 (Current) Ren is a hardworking, honest, straightforward and trustworthy child. He has an affinity for dogs and a strange obsession with rice. He is currently living with Haru and his brothers, twins Aki and Shima. Although he is in their care, Ren is very mature for his age and hates being treated like a child, especially by Haru. He loves Haru but would rather put that man's wishes above his own. With an intelligence and perception above average for his age, he prefers to keep to himself and doesn't like to burden others with his insecurities. Due to a complicated childhood and no memory of his biological parents, he is quite naive about the world but is gradually adapting to his new life in Japan.
Kaidou Shima is one of Haru's brothers, who is currently studying in college and working as a part-time tutor. He is composed and cool character. Also has a twin brother named Aki.
A 3rd year and the vice president of the Magic Club. Aburatsubo is homosexual, but only shows affection toward Takakura; he never shows signs of being interested in any other boy. Takakura is uncomfortable with Aburatsubo's flirting, but doesn’t think much of it; though Aburastubo continuously flirt with Takakura, he understands that Takakura will never return his feelings. He has a variety of talents and is involved in many other clubs besides the Magic Club, such as the tennis team and drama club. The TV series establishes that doesn't have a very good standing towards his mother, who constantly babies him, though he does love her.
Casino King is the name that the Gambling King gives to any area where he can set up his rigged gambling games, which include dice games, card games against the King himself, and pachinko machines. It is typically little more than a small stall at a fair or festival, or some relatively sheltered spot in an out of the way position on the street, but when the King successfully "wins" the Tendo Dojo from Ranma in a rigged game, he converts it into a much larger version, taking advantage of its wide space and sturdy roof.
The First Master and the founder of the Fairy Tail Guild. She is also referred to as the mother of Fairy Tail. In year X686, Mavis, along with Precht, Warrod Sequen and Yury Dreyar, founded the Fairy Tail guild, with Mavis being the guild master. As they finally finished the guild building, all four took a photo with the building in background as a sign that Fairy Tail was born. She later entrusted the guild to Precht to serve as its second master. In gratitude, members of Fairy Tail made her a grave on the holy island of the guild - Tenrou Island. Mavis was given with an epithet as the Fairy Tactician, since she led her team in many victories thanks to her exceptional skills in making strategies during battles. Shortly before founding the guild, Mavis' body becomes unable to grow nor mature after she uses Fairy Law in an incomplete stage, when her body could not withstand the burden of the magic.
Tenkou is an evil, powerful man and the King of the Shitennou (Four Heaven Kings), who he controls and commands. He is even more powerful than Nakago, who served him, and even more evil. Tenkou believes he is a god, and it is his dream to attain the ultimate power of the "Shi Jin Ten Chi Sho", and become the ruler of both the book world and the real world. Tenkou is extremely powerful, merciless, and cruel. He kills people with no hesitation or remorse, and controls others, forcing them to acknowledge his superior powers. Gennai Hiraga was the original figure who destroyed the White House and appears multiple times throughout the series. He unleashes a mysterious power in the form of green lightning bolts which is used in the series to cut the entire electricity supply of New York City, disable aircraft and destroy buildings in Washington DC. In the final episode at the I-Jin fortress, Yomiko and Gennai engage in a swordfight, using a lightsabre-type weapon and a paper sword respectively. He dies when Yomiko uses a $100 bill to rupture a liquid nitrogen coolant line, whereupon he is frozen solid and shattered.
