Age: 15 Occupation: Adventurer Alignment: Hero Sonic the Hedgehog, nicknamed the "Blue Blur," is well-known for his speed which is called "second to none." He made his first appearance in the game "Sonic the Hedgehog" for the Sega Genesis in 1991. Though he enjoys lazing around and simply enjoying himself, most of the games focus on the main antagonist Dr. Robotnik attempting to take over the world, only to be stopped by Sonic and occasionally several of his friends everytime. His best friend is Miles Prower, more commonly called Tails. Acting as somewhat of a sidekick and slowly maturing into more of a partner as the games go on, the young fox has a knack for inventing things and other machinery. Lots of times he'll also team up with Knuckles the Echidna, guardian of the Master Emerald. He's been called his rival on several occasions and the two get along well (most of the time). Sonic is prideful and hates to be constrained, enjoying freedom and doing things at his own pace (which is always incredibly fast). Though he is cocky and rather impatient, he is someone who would never turn their back on a friend in need or to protect the greater good (on several occasions performing actions that nearly result in his death). Sonic mainly fights by curling into a ball and spinning at high speeds (known as the Spinball, Spin Dash, etc). He is also a master in Capoeira (a Brazilian martial art)
Woody is a Sylph. His job is to deliver packages and other goods to people in Neo-Venezia, or delivering people's treasured feelings as he called it. He loves 'swimming' through the sky, and prefers his nickname because it's less formal than his actual name. In the manga, Woody has a somewhat poor sense of direction, and is mostly unable to work without using a map. He's a childhood friend of Akatsuki, the two often spending time playing outside, occasionally being looked after by Al.
Sairei no Hebi, or Snake of the Festival, is a powerful Crimson God who leads the Crimson Denizen organization Bal Masqué. He was sealed for centuries after a great battle against Flame Haze.
Rofocale is a Crimson Denizen who calls himself a "musician". He is a follower and servant of the Crimson Goddess of Guidance, Shaher. He wanders around the land, to look for an event important enough to make the whole world learn about it; when it happens, he summons his goddess, who gives her guidance. This, however, is at the cost of Rofocale's life. He talks by using poems, while playing his lute. Rofocale is affiliated with Bal Masqué for unknown reasons. However, he has little to no influence with the state of affairs in the organization but has privilege to wander around Seireiden or leave the fortress without restriction. After refusing to announce the plan of Shana, he gets a revelation of the new-born child of Johann and Pheles, Justus, who is the first descendant born from a Crimson Denizen and a human. He considers it to be an event important enough to will change the fate of both Crimson and human worlds, and thus, sacrifices his life by summoning Shaher, who lets everyone learn about the event. Chalciuhtlicue is the Crimson Lord who is contracted to Westshore. She speaks through an engraved stone medallion with soft voice. With other Lords of the Four Gods of Earth and their partners, they had agreed to the destruction of the United States and started the clash between Flame Haze which later be named as the "Civil War". The Skull Knight is one of the most mysterious and prolific characters introduced in Berserk, a towering warrior dressed in full armor whose ornaments, especially his helmet, are shaped as parts of a human skeleton, hence his moniker, who rides a massive, ghostly black horse. Though ominous and macabre, he is an enemy of the Godhand and its acolytes, hunting down Apostles and devouring their Behelits; especially bitter is his rivalry with Zodd the Immortal, whom he was often showed to overwhelm with ease. He wields a powerful sword that, when stuck down his throat, becomes a terrible, Behelit-coated blade capable of slashing rifts through reality itself, thus allowing the Skull Knight to move freely around the world or even between different dimensions. This enigmatic knight saved Guts in more than one occasion, notably during the infamous Eclipse which saw Griffith become a member of the Hand of God or when Slan almost slaughtered him, though he never explained why, simply declaring that the Struggler (the way he calls Guts) has to keep following his fate. It is heavily speculated that, during his life as a mortal, the Skull Knight was in fact Gaiseric, the warlord that unified the Midland and became its first Emperor, notorious for his helmet whose shape was that of a human skull and whose ambitions 'prompted God to send four Angels' (most likely the four members of the Hand of God) to punish him. He was the wearer of the Berserker's Armor, and knew the witch Flora. During the duel between Griffith and Ganishka he suddenly appeared out of thin air through a dimensional rift, trying to land a fatal blow on the Hawk, only to see it diverted on the writhing body of the Kushan Emperor.
