The granddaughter of Kurt and lives in Azalea Town in Johto. She appears in the games, anime, and the Pokémon Adventures manga. Maisy helped Ash, Brock, and Misty pick Apricorns for Custom Poké Balls. In the Pokémon Adventures manga Maisy in the Pokémon Adventures manga Gold met Maisy and Kurt. Maisy told Gold that she wanted a Friend Ball to capture a cute kind of Pokémon in the mountains, but that Kurt wouldn't make one for her. Kurt explained that once, his ancestors were the only ones capable of creating Poké Balls until companies started to mass produce them. Kurt said that Gold wasn't experienced enough to use his special Balls, something that annoyed Gold. Kurt made a Friend Ball for Gold, and Maisy and Gold went up to the mountains and found the Pokémon Maisy was after - a Teddiursa. Unfortunately, a wild Ursaring stepped into defend its cub. Luckily, Silver was after an Ursaring with a custom Heavy Ball of his own - and together the two boys were able to use their custom Poké Balls to capture the bear Pokémon. Gold gave Maisy the Teddiursa. Later, the Masked Man held Maisy hostage to force Kurt to turn over the design plans for the GS Ball.
Anime Noland appeared in two episodes of the anime: Numero Uno Articuno and The Symbol Life. He enjoys inventing things and riding on the airplane that he made. Rather than battling with random Pokémon, Noland allows the opponent to choose who they will battle against. Manga Noland is the first Frontier Brain fought by Emerald in Pokémon Adventures. He uses Mawile, Golem, and Glalie and respects Emerald, launching into a lengthy discussion about strategy after the battle. Noland is in charge of raising and taking care of all of the rental Pokémon not only in the Battle Factory, but the ones used by the simulated holographic trainers in the other Battle Frontier facilities as well. Anime Tucker's only anime appearance was in the episode Tactics Theatrics!!. In the anime, he is a big superstar. He likes to entertain others, and he has many fans. Automatically before the battle, he allows challengers to send in their Pokémon from other locations. Even if Ash was allowed to do this, he still used two Pokémon from his current party, Corphish and Swellow. He used an Arcanine and Swampert in a double battle against Ash Ketchum. The battle took place in the Battle Dome in front of a large audience. Tucker was defeated by Ash although he held a strong start for a while with his Pokémon's teamwork and strategy. Manga At the beginning of the Battle Frontier saga, Tucker was assaulted by Emerald while riding to the Battle Frontier Opening Ceremony on his Salamence. Tucker was promptly tied up and thrown backstage during the opening ceremony, where he is found by the other Brains. They let him go and he starts yelling at Emerald, on stage. Scott tells him to be quiet, and Tucker grows a flaming grudge against Emerald. Tucker bears witness to Emerald's victory over Noland, and immediately makes the boy come to his facility. However, the Battle Dome is actually Emerald's fifth challenge. He is the skilled leader of their bandit group and enjoys making games out of their exploits. While initially presented as an antagonist, he is revealed to act as a sort of Robin Hood at times. Later, he acts as Roy's contact/informant in the series as compensation for taking Rose in as a roommate. He is injured while fighting off against a swarm of Resemble infected humans to allow Roy and Andy to continue on their way to deactivate Eunomia. Age: 18-22 Height: 156 cm (5'1 1/2") Hair color: blonde Eye color: hazel A vain, attention-seeking bandit who calls herself "The Blue Comet". She is honest, yet unyielding, proud, and selfish. Although she and her brothers donate their spoils to the Unregistered Citizens clustered in the city's underground and outskirts, they often cause large amounts of public damage in the process. She is armed with a laser-based hand pistol, and she rides a large motorcycle with three spherical wheels in front, driving wheels behind, and a cannon hidden in the frame. She occasionally hums the song "Return to love (Jazz version)" to calm herself. In the later half of the series, she was revealed to be Rita Revant, Roy's daughter who went missing after the Blast Fall incident. She finds it hard to swallow at first but accepts it later at one point. She was supposedly killed in the collapse of a clock tower, but later, she was shown to be alive and working for Ashley Lynx, in order to follow their common dream of equality among residents.
