Cooking teacher and adviser of the magical girls' club (and of the cooking club). Although she is recruited by the school, she is in fact from the world of the witches. As advisor, she trains the girls to be good magical girls. Ironically, although she is the cooking teacher, she herself cannot cook. Other than the red rather than green eyes, fans of the Tenchi Muyo! franchise can recognize this character as the Washu they know.
The second member of the magical girl club whom Sasami befriended. She comes off as an introvert because she attracts worm-like creatures around her whenever she gets scared and they envelop her body, making her scary to those around her. It is only after meeting Sasami that she becomes more outgoing. Except for the bow on her hair and her hair being more purple than purplish black, she resembles Misao Amano.
A man who Sasami meets on her trip to the world of the witches. He seems to have already known Sasami when she first met him, he claims it's because he knows her shadow. Sasami finds herself to be very fond of him, and thinks often of him after their encounter.
She is the leader of the "Shining Star" magic girl team. Misao looks at Ayane as a mentor.
A witch, who due to her vast powers, ended up bringing calamity to the witch world due to various factions fighting each other in order to take advantage of it. In order to stop the fighting, a seal was placed on Toma, putting her in stasis. It was a deed which she herself wanted ever since evil witches implanted the seeds of evil in her soul during the fighting, to prevent her soul from tainting completely. However, due to the strengths of her powers, the two sides of her soul gained form even without the body and began an endless struggle. It was during this struggle that Alice became caught in the middle. Alice though, realized that in truth, both sides were still of the same heart that just feared to truth itself, and freed Toma from her stasis. In the end, the long stasis was able to give Toma the chance to gain control over her great magic, and with the command from the Grand Master, Toma ended up serving under Ateria.
