A 1st year and another new member of the Magic Club. Akane is a spoiled rich girl who often misses going to club meetings in order to go on dates with boyfriends. She seems to be a natural at using magic, and it comes very easily to her (such is her inant skill that she is able to make makeshift wands out of rudimentary objects, though they are rather primative and weak compared to her regular wand), though it can't be said the same for her flying. Akane often uses magic for selfish reasons against what Takakura has taught, which causes Sae to lecture her in several instances. In a cute touch, anything affected soley by her magic spins before the spell's true effect come to pass, something which she has no control over. In the TV series, Akane works as a model and appears in clothing advertisements throughout the city. Her mother is a famous actress.
A 2nd year and a friend of Sae since childhood. She just wants to be a normal high school girl and gets frustrated with Sae's obsession with the Magic Club, although she is proficient in magic herself. Nanaka has a crush on Aburatsubo but is afraid to admit her feelings because she knows they won't be returned. She self described her family as "all over the place", and though she is often embarressed and aggrivated by their respective antics, she loves them dearly.
Birthdate: May 3 Age: 18 Zodiac: Taurus Height: 159 cm Io attends the same school as Hibiki and Daichi. She’s an honor student and considered a dream girl for many guys since she packs brains and beauty. Io is a polite, conserved girl often unsure of herself at times. She is noted to also have a penchant for books. Until the last two days of the game, she constantly apologizes and compromises, agreeing with others and never expressing her own views. As the story goes on, it is heavily implied that Io is romantically interested in the Protagonist. She however has a strange confidence about confessing her feelings on the matter though. On one hand, she is not afraid to tell the Protagonist that she is able to go on because he is there for her. She dies in episode 12 after consumed by the void along with Daichi.
Birthdate: January 18 Age: 15 Zodiac: Capricorn Height: 153 cm Controlled Demon: Cait Sith, Lorelei A first-year high school student living in Nagoya. She is passionate and active, but because of her family situation, she has a chip on her shoulder toward society. Airi is a cold character, often frank and unreserved about giving her opinions on matters or the people at hand. This is especially emphasized when she lashes out at Jungo or Hinako, the former for his "idiocy" and the latter as a part of her rivalry. Airi used to be a pianist who won awards in competitions. However, she had to quit her dream for her parents not having enough money to afford a music school and lessons for her. Despite being a non-dieable character, she dies in one of the explosions in episode 11.
Birthdate: November 2 Age: 26 Zodiac: Scorpio Height: 172 cm Weight: 53 kg Occupation: JP's Tokyo Branch Clerk Makoto seems to be frigid, strong, and serious woman. In reality, she is prone to doubting herself and has a good sense of manners. She is compassionate about helping and saving people to the point that, although being loyal to JP's, she questions the morality of their conduct. Makoto used to be a synchronized swimmer before an accident left her a scar that she's unable to perform. Her devotion to JP's comes from the fact that she believes that they saved her by giving her an opportunity to prove her worth when she gave up on herself. She dies in episode 12 while trying to protect Yamato from Alcor's attack.
Birthdate: September 9 Age: 24 Zodiac: Virgo Height: 162 cm Occupation: JP's Osaka Branch Clerk; Physician Otome has a warm personality and a kind heart. Despite appearing to be ditzy at times, she rarely loses her composure and remains as one of the more collected and mature characters of Devil Survivor 2 to the point of being the mother figure for JP's. She has a penchant for teasing the other major characters usually in the context of romance. Usually, it's teasing Makoto for her implied romantic interest for the Protagonist or, conversely, the Protagonist himself should the player show hints of a crush towards Otome. Makoto mentions that she always feels exhausted whenever Otome works together with Fumi. Along with Joe and Ronaldo, she is killed in episode 8 by the massive explosion after defeating Megrez.
The fifth member of the club. Although popular with the boys, she has admiration for Tsukasa due to reasons unknown, and does not want anyone to hang out with Tsukasa. She can do drawings and write words and also has the ability to make each of those those words into tangible symbols. Although she acts like a princess, she actually comes from a rather large family with a lot of siblings.
