He is also very protective of his pack and always does the best for it. In the end he is accused of betraying his pack, and gets beat up by a couple of his own and shows the wolves the way from which he tried to reach paradise.

A young girl who only appeared in the second and third episode. She offers Toboe some sausage after thinking he is a stray dog. Toboe soon introduces himself as a human to her, saying the 'stray dog' was his pet. Later, Toboe accidently kills her falcon and he gets so upset he howls, revealing his true form. Leara looks on in shock while Tsume takes Toboe away. After seeing Toboe one last time while he's making an escape from the city, Leara yells for help, not trusting Toboe because she's scared of him.

The commander of a squad trying to take back Cheza from Darcia and the wolves. He works for Cher in the beginning of the series.

Hige seems to know how to function the best in human society, even wearing a dog collar, although the true meaning behind his collar is revealed later in the series that is a tag/transmitter . He tends to use his intuition more than the others, but only when he's not thinking with his stomach instead. Hige is quite the ladies' man and is always on the look-out for a nice girl.
