Whitney Hagas Matsumoto is a man that Faye Valentine met shortly after she came out of cryogenic sleep. He posed as her lawyer and became romantically involved with her. When she tried to escape from the hospital, he staged his own death and left Faye with all of his assets (a huge amount of debt). Jirou Horikoshi has been dreaming of flying since he was a young boy living in rural Japan.
