Haruna is in Kohei's class, and is also a childhood friend of his. She has a bright personality, and enjoys helping others. She has had many boys from school confess their love to her, but she has turned down every one of them. She is shown to be having feelings for Kouhei, but she doesn't accept it clearly nor she denies it when the topic is brought about how she feels about Kouhei. (Source: Wikipedia)
Birthday: November 21 Kiriha is Kohei's classmate. She is most often seen alone, and will not talk much, even when spoken to directly. She does not have many interests, and is in no clubs. She has been exceptional in math ever since she was young. She is a vampire servant, which makes her immortal and she has superhuman powers, though she does not need blood and has lost her sense of taste. Later it is revealed that she has been living for about more than 250 years. She finds out that her master is Erika's mother, Kaya Sendou. In the OVA, she states that the only boy she is interested is Hasekura Kouhei.
Kaya is Erika and Iori's mother. Estimated to be 251 years old and above, yet she looks like a child, giving people the image that she is Iori and Erika's younger sister instead. Erika looks like a splitting image of her, the only difference being Erika's more matured body and that Kaya's eyes are constantly red in color, which every vampire has when they have their vampiric impulses. It is revealed at the end of the manga that she is actually lonely and wanted her daughter Erika to be the same as her. Like she made Kiriha Kuze her servant against her will , she wanted her family also to have servants like her so she might not feel lonely. She could have chosen a grown up body for appearance be she decided to remain with a young body because she thought she might find what she lost in her childhood. She is the only one who is born as Vampire in her blood due to inheritance from her father who experimented and changed his own body into vampire to live long. She was given 2 blue crystals so that she will feed it to her descendants so she won't feel lonely. Later after knowing what was her father's real intentions for giving her the crystals, she offers Erika to become normal human and live normal life on which Erika accepts. (Source: Wikipedia, edited)
The third prince of the Hittite empire, son of King Suppililiuma and the second Tawananna, Queen Hinti. At the beginning of the series, he finds Yuri running frantically from guards, and gives her the gift of understanding and speaking their language by way of a kiss. He finds Yuri to be quite unlike any woman he has ever met, and promises to help her find a way home to Japan, while struggling with his own growing love and desire for her. He initially calls Yuri his concubine and the incarnate form of Ishtar in order to protect her from Queen Nakia, but even he begins to believe his own tale after a while, and the legend of Yuri as Ishtar grows beyond his control. He is loyal to those he cares for, but constantly at odds with his stepmother, the third Tawananna, Queen Nakia. A powerful sorcerer in his own right, he has the ability to control wind and air, and is one of the few who can counter Nakia's spells in any way. (Source: Wikipedia)
The main character of the story. Only fifteen at the start of the series, Yuri is confident and willing to take up any charitable cause. As she possesses knowledge far greater than any woman of the time (such as recognition of iron and knowledge of 20th century medical practices and hygiene), and often seems to find herself in situations that "prove" she is Ishtar, she is often considered to have divine powers and is thought by most to be the living incarnation of the goddess of love and war, Ishtar. As such, she is often referred to as Yuri Ishtar (ユーリ・イシュタル, Yuri Ishtar?). Despite this, she is tomboyish, preferring to dress in men's clothing for the sake of practicality, much to the consternation and dismay of her handmaids. She is an accomplished gymnast, and during her stay in Hattusa, she learns the art of sword fighting and archery, so that she can better help Kail, and survive on her own.
Prince Kail's servant, who goes everywhere with him. Though quite cautious and timid by nature, he is not above conspiring with Yuri's handmaids and working behind Kail's back in order to encourage him to "settle down" with Yuri. In an omake chapter at the end of the story, he writes a horse care manual that is in modern day times discovered in the ruins of the old Hittite empire. The character is loosely based on historical Kikkuli, the master horse trainer of the land Mitanni. (Source: Wikipedia)
