The eldest of the Marcus Brothers and apparent leader, Borgoff carries a powerful wrist-mounted crossbow. Borgoff is incredibly skilled at using the crossbow, to such an extent that he can manually reload and fire the crossbow so rapidly that he can create a literal rain of silver bolts. Borgoff and his brothers were hired to chase Meier Link, who had kidnapped Charlotte. Of all the brothers, Borgoff was the only one who thought it beneficial to work with D in capturing Merier Link rather than against him.
A much feared and little seen tribe of monsters and mutants. While all of them identify themselves as Barbarois- they are in fact a large confederation made up a wide range of creatures. Their skills and reputation allows them to be hired at high prices and they also appear to have a long history of serving vampires. While some consider their work only jobs, other display fierce loyalty to their client. Carmilla hires three very powerful Barbarois to guard Meier Link's carriage.
Charlotte's brother. Before having negotiations with D tried to save his sister himself, however, was wounded and lost nearly all his people. Also, he was the one who hired Marcus brothers in order to save Charlotte.
"The Father" was an unidentified elder in Vishnu. He hired the Marcus Clan and Hunter D to rescue his daughter from Baron Mayerling. [Wikia] He is ready to pay $10 mln. (considered to be a very big sum) in order to save his daughter. However, allows D to kill Charlotte is she has already been 'baptized' by the Noble. When D demands twice as much for that ($20 mln. is an enormous sum) agrees to pay the money.

With long hair and Arabian-esque clothing, Mashira is a mutant werewolf. He can transform into his wolf form at will. He has very keen senses and hears sounds over great distances. He is probably the most loyal of the three- and is often the first to communicate with Meier.
An ancient vampire who resides in the Castle of Chaythe, where Meier and Charlotte go in hopes that a still-functional ship can take them away from Earth. Many years earlier, Carmilla's blood lust had become so rampant that D's father, the Lord of Vampires, impaled her in her sleep, leaving her body to rot and her spirit imprisoned within her haunted castle. Carmilla turns out to be the true villain of the film: her invitation to Meier and Charlotte is a ruse, and her true intention is to sacrifice Charlotte and steal her body. Her plan is foiled, and she is killed once and for all by D with aid from Link.
