The name of the House of Valens is well known even among other kingdoms as a once-noble family of proud knights. Perhaps due to her feelings of duty to carry on that tradition, she always forces herself to walk the true path of a knight. Nonetheless, she has an inner side that is cute and feminine, like the young lady that she is. Prior to the game, Chloe Valens belonged to the Valens House, a great line of nobles whose existence is well-known throughout the world. When she was a child she had long, beautiful black hair. One rainy night, however, her parents were murdered before her by a masked bandit with a snake tattoo on his arm. Chloe tried to use her father's sword against him, but the masked bandit told her if she chose to attack that he would show her no mercy. Overpowered by fear, she was unable to avenge her parents, and so the masked bandit stole her father’s sword and left. After the incident, the Valens name was threatened to be stripped from her due to the incident. Chloe tries her hardest to keep the Valens name but, being only a child, she finds it impossible to meet the demands of owning such a status. Age: 19 Height: 175cm Voice: Hisakawa Aya Weapon: Spears and Staves Sub-Weapon: Boots Judith is a mysterious Krityan. She is always very calm, in battle or otherwise, and has very good looks. Though only Yuri knows her secret, she is the dragon rider that has been hunting down and destroying specific blastia. Nothing seems to faze her, and she is charismatic and smart. Judith was born and raised in the Krityan city on Mt. Temza, where her father was a genius Blastia researcher working for the Empire. As a girl, she befriended Ba'ul, a young Entelexeia who lived at Myorzo's peak. Together with Judith's father, they traveled often. Unfortunately, when she was only nine, Judith was caught in the crossfire of the Great War which destroyed her hometown and killed her parents. She was rescued and taken to the Krityan city of Myorzo, but traumatized by the events that she had witnessed, she withdrew from others and suffered from insomnia. Exasperating this was the fact that she was not able to adapt to the radically different culture of her new home, and she quickly became restless. She appears to be one of the more mysterious, mature and rational members of the team. She is gentle-looking, perceptive, composed, receptive, and often acts without explaining her actions, thus she cannot get an impression of the current situation. She is also decisive, persistent, witty, somewhat impulsive, and quite bold, apparently prefering to wear several revealing outfits, particularly her default outfit and her bunny outfit. She is also very flirtatious, especially with Yuri, and apparently enjoys teasing the male members of the team, often making suggestive comments about 'showing a little more' of her already-impressive figure. Estelle has humorously shown to be jealous of it. She has also stated that she is "not a very good liar".
Age: 12 Height: 135cm Weapon: Swords, Axes and Hammers Sub-Weapon: Bags Karol is a young boy part of the Hunting Blades guild, a guild which hunts monsters. He is quite the scaredy-cat. Usually used as Rita's punching bag, he has joined numerous amounts of guilds, only to be kicked out. He encounters Yuri and Estelle when he trying to revive the tree in Halure to restore its barrier blastia. Karol greatly looks up to Don Whitehorse, the leader of the Union of Guilds. Later in the game, after being kicked out by the Hunting Blades, he forms the guild "Brave Vesperia" with Yuri.
Age: 14 Weapon: Knives Sub-Weapon: Guns Voiced by: Chiwa Saitou (Japanese) Patty is a young pirate girl who travels around the world in search of romance and the legendary treasure of the notorious pirate Aifread. Despite her young appearance, she has a personality and manner of expression of that of an elderly person. She is an expert marksman, capable of using a gun and equally skilled at wielding a knife. She bears a resemblance to the pirate class of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2. Although she is exclusive to the PlayStation 3 port of the game, she is still a major main character of the game.
The queen of the witch world, known as Lumina in English and simply Hexenkönigin in German. She is surprising and kind hearted. She helps Doremi and her friends out as they pass tests to become real witches. She is actually Yuki, the nurse in Doremi's school
The Great will of he Macrocosm is a deus ex machina character used to revive dead characters, or revert the show to a previous state when things go awry. She has the form of a wormhole with human arms and legs, and speaks in a proper manner. Appears only in the anime adaptation.
