Kazuya's little sister. Her "arc" is in episode 13. It is revealed she is not blood-related to Kazuya. Her father and Kazuya's mother remarried after Kanon's biological mother passed away. Kanon met Kazuya at a beach when they were children and although they both pretend not to remember they are both aware of it.

She is one of Oda's soldiers who is very proficient in using the yari, a traditional Japanese spear. She is put in charge of watching over Sagara.

Maria is a 14 year old nun in training who was abandoned by her parents. One day, she receives a letter from "Gabriel" saying that she has one relative left alive that desperately needs her help, so she leaves the convent, with one clue, in search for this person. Along the way, she encounters many people that she helps, dangerous situations and obstacles, and finds love. Because Maria was raised in the convent, she is very ignorant of the outside world and is not even familiar with outside social interactions or the customs of the modern world. She has never watched television nor been to a circus. Due to this lack of knowledge, she finds herself in many difficult situations. There are some discrepancies as to Maria's age. Some references say 14, some say 16. Shoujo Magic's release states 14. However, Volume 1, Chapter 2, pg. 3 says 16.

An enemy of Strauss during the time of the Kingdom of the Night, known as "Infinite Cross Saverhagen" and is the only human Bridget ever considered to be near Strauss' level of skill. Saverhagen saw Strauss as the Red Rose of Disaster and sought to defeat him no matter what tricks she had to resort to. She eventually created the curse of the Black Swan and led an alliance of countries against the Kingdom of the Night, demanding Strauss' execution. Saverhagen was also responsible for creating the spell to seal away Adelheid when she went berserk and unleashed the Moonlight of Corrosion. Despite caring deeply for the children she adopted as wards, including Stella, her ruthless pragmatism caused her to do various despicable acts, such as kill Stella as a sacrifice to defeat Strauss.
