The second daughter of Soun Tendo. The most important thing to her is money and she'd do anything to achieve it, including blackmailing her own family members. In some stories, she plays an important role in trying to extort money or placing bets just for her own amusement. She has a sarcastic, materialistic, egoistic, manipulative, sadistic and completely amoral attitude that is a sharp contrast to her older sister. She can in fact, be seen as the most intelligent character in both manga and anime.

Ane-san is the school teacher at the small country school where Reiji and the other girls go. She looks like an ordinary teacher but she isn't. She is a legend at some areas, a biker and goes by the name of "100 man killer". She really shows her staff at the extra last chapter of the series that is called " Tayu Tayu:Gaiden" and is devoted on her amazing skills.
Oyuki is the queen of Neptune, which in the series is a frozen, snowy planet populated entirely by women, as most of the men have to go off-planet to find work. As a child she used to hang out with Lum, Ran, and Benten when they were all in grade school. She is clearly patterned after the yuki-onna (literally "snow woman") of Japanese folklore. As such, she has the power to control and create ice, snow, and extreme cold. Typically dressed in a long, elegant kimono, Oyuki is soft-spoken, regal in demeanor and very slow to show anger. However, once roused to actually display her abilities she proves to be the most powerful character in the series. Because of the wrath she displays when angered, Oyuki is the only person in the entire galaxy that Ran genuinely fears.
Appears in "Jinsei Best 10". Hatoko's former classmate and first love. He was also the first boy Hatoko dated and kissed. Hatoko described him as laid-back, careless and irresponsible. He is one of the organizers of the middle school class reunion.
Appears in "Jinsei Best 10". A single woman turning 40 who's about to attend her middle-school reunion in hopes of encountering her first boyfriend. She works as assistant section chief in the cosmetics development department of a commodity company.
