Yuutarou, nicknamed "YÅ«" and "Tera" by his peers, is one of Ren's friends at school and is both sagely and mature. Unlike Ga-chan, he tends to be more realistic and is often holding back Ga-chan's matchmaking attempts so as not to trouble Ren. In middle school, he attended the same cram school as Sayuri Uehara, and they began dating. However, they broke up abruptly when Sayuri believed Yuu was cheating on her. Yuu regrets hurting Sayuri and realizes their relationship failed because of lack of communication, but knows they cannot return to the way they were. She's often very unpredictable and constantly on the edge when her lust for blood is not satisfied which is why she is very much depended on Houko as her "Instead." Her first victims are her parents, in which Houko took the blame for it so as to keep her from being incriminated. It wasn't clear why she and her sister, Houko refer to themselves as "twins" when they're neither identical nor fraternal, however it is hinted that it was the bond that they have for each other that they refer to themselves as "twins."
