He doesn't seem to grasp many concepts of common sense or technology. Jungo values peace and friendship, making efforts to keep the cast together whenever it seems like the bonds between them are breaking. Usually quiet and gentle, Jungo enters a trance-like rage when he sees that his friends are being threatened. Comically, he has an unnatural fixation with chawanmushi, which becoming a running gag throughout the series. He offers it multiple times to other characters as a sign of peace making or generally as a gift. He also likes cats. It's hinted that he has strong romantic feelings for Airi in both the anime and the game. He dies in one of the explosions in episode 11 while trying to protect Airi.
Tico serves as a female Nicaea Contact should the player choose her as his Nicaea Contact (in the game).

He is a firm believer of justice. He rarely ever budges on matters of protecting the weak, being very stubborn to the point of being arguably pig headed in situations that require his leadership. He is also quite hot-headed, preferring to let action speak rather than words. Along with Otome and Joe,he is killed in episode 8 by the massive explosion after defeating Megrez.

Keita is unfriendly and doesn't like to get close with others, being a lone wolf by choice. Even though he typically ignores cries for help, he usually assists others anyway using his amazing strength to accomplish tasks by his lonesome. He is obsessed with getting stronger, noted by how he is constantly training on his punching bag or how he has a thick rivalry with strong opponents. In the third episode, he saves both Hibiki and Io in exchange of his own life.

He is a young man who has messy straight sliver hair and purple eyes with one of his bangs hanging on his right eye. He wears a JP's standard director uniform with white gloves, black heavy trench coat, black baggy trousers, and black leather boots. He has a calm composure when making decisions and deciding on actions while fighting the mysterious invaders. He has great leadership abilities, is smart, decisive and effective, but lacks common sense about “unnecessary” things that his parental figures never taught him about. He can say cruel truth and make cruel decisions without feeling bad because he has no concept of compassion taught to him. Due to his upbringing, he views the worth of individual's value from their achievement rather than artificial concept like money and power and developed belief that there is no future for the weak, so the strong ones must take the lead. He has pride in his family name and unable to accept that the current world that he viewed unworthy of being protected by his family. He seems to have some concern for Hibiki and perhaps think of him as a friend, since he received his death clip and even going as far as saving him directly, though he won't admit it himself. Another person that he often talks to is Anguished One, but their relationship is complicated. Despite Anguished One referring himself as Yamato's 'old friend' and gave him informations about the invasion, Yamato is rather hostile towards him and referring to him in a rather harsh and spiteful way in Japanese (He usually refers people with 'Omae', but referring Anguished One with 'Kisama').
