Margie is an elderly female hermit who lives alone in the woods with her pet lizard. She has the ability to hypnotize people and animals. Rude, short-tempered and eccentric, the old woman has developed a bad reputation among her fellow pixies. The people of the village are frightened of her and warn their children to keep their distance. Despite her anti-social behavior, Margie isn't really a bad sort. She rescues Chuchuna when she gets lost in the forest and soon develops a friendship with the tiny girl.
One of the Three Great Wizards who created the Great Barrier that transported their home country to a different dimension to avoid persecution. Later on, she gave up on being a witch, and fled into the human world in order to live a normal life, leaving the responsibility of keeping the Great Barrier to the royal family and the Alkanet family. She had then sealed her magic, but somehow, her descendants can still remember the spell for the Great Barrier. It is revealed in the final chapters of the manga that she is an ancestor of Noriko and her mother, and both of them are theoretically able to perform the Great Barrier.
The Witch looks quite scary and has some powerful magic in her possession, but is a harmless old lady despite her strong dislike of the Moomins. She would prefer Alice not to play with them and pay more attention to her studies, but does warm up for them later on. (This character does not appear in the original stories or comics.)

Called "Little Demon" by Soul Eater, he is a strange demonic imp that appeared before Soul inside his heart after his first encounter with Ragnarök. He told Soul "to be strong... follow me..." when soul decides to follow the imp states; "There will be insanity and ecstasy of joy." He may represent the power of the black blood and the insanity deep inside everyone's heart.
