Suguru claims to be an archangel. He makes contact with Tenko when he believes Samatarou is capable of moving on without his guardian from now on and comes to Earth himself when Tenko asks for a three day grace period, just to spend some more time with Samatarou. Suguru appears as a piggy bank, which can fly and tells how much money it contains and receives, according to him because he didn't want to draw attention to himself. He seems to resent being addressed as 'pig', claiming to be a most splendid archangel. His claims do nothing to prevent Tenko from smacking him around a couple of times. He is also Tenko's father.

He is the scriptwriter and comes up with the lines that Maico has to say on a daily basis. Suga-chan seems to sleep most of the time and smokes a lot.

Sudou has liked Yuuko since college, but hasn't been successful in winning her heart. Kotoko describes him as someone who has a dual personality. He is very kind when he's not holding the tennis racquet, but once he holds it, he becomes vicious and competitive (most especially to Irie, but he always loses to him). He eventually weds Yuuko.

Suen is Cleo’s closest friend, as well as her personal business assistant. A bit of a no-nonsense person, Suen is often annoyed at Cleo’s occasional flights of fancy and tries her best to keep her boss’ feet on the ground whenever possible.

Sodou is one of the men who was treated by Yukine when they was after a brawl.
