He stops the Yue family from bullying Shu Chan. As he did this, Shu Chan's father knew who Yi was and whose son he was but makes a revelation about this.

Hata no Kokoro is a menreiki youkai. Kokoro naturally has a quiet, child-like personality but also a love of the stage, and relies on her masks to properly communicate her emotions. All of her emotions are stored in her masks, causing her behavior to swing wildly as she switches between them. Eventually, however, she manages to develop a sense of self and become less dependent on them. Each of the masks which make up Kokoro embody powerful emotion, and will impress that emotion on the holder and those around them. When all 66 masks are together, their effects complement each other and are under Kokoro's full control. If an individual mask is separated from the group then it retains its properties, but Kokoro will also lose the ability to feel that emotion completely. Losing her Mask of Hope caused Kokoro to become unstable and leech hope from her surroundings, until she was able to compensate by developing emotions separate from her masks'. Kokoro has a total of 66 masks, each of which depict an emotion. She is unable to express emotions without using these masks. A rather eccentric, but intelligent high school student who tries committing suicide by jumping off of a building, only to be stopped after realizing that a man wearing a pair of white angel wings was taking pictures of him. He is then taken captive by the man, who is the fugitive Lee Hyuk-Soo, but finds himself willing to accompany him even after he was released as a hostage. He was picked on and avoided in school due to a malpractice case against his father, who is a doctor, concerning the performance of an illegal abortion on a minor which resulted in death. Because of the calamity that ensued, Han had to transfer schools several times, only to have the kids continue pick on him since his father was well-renowned. This drove him to try and commit suicide and run away with his kidnapper, Lee Hyuk-Soo.
