She helps aid Michel and Eledore in bringing them food while they're held captive. The Zeon guard wonders what the point would be since they are going to be executed in the morning. Maria gives it to them anyway and tells them not to lose hope. She leaves with a hooded girl and gives Norris his room key. Maria shows up at end of the episode, and Shiro thanks her for everything she did.

A Goi (non-magician) and was a former inhabitant of the 5th Level Authorization District of Magnostadt. She was rescued by Titus Alexius whom she forged a special bond with.

Maria is a member of Sawai's team.

Marisa is a human witch who lives in a cluttered house in the Forest of Magic. She is friends with Reimu and visits her often, but otherwise is solitary and spends most of her time researching magic. She is also an avid collector stuffing her house with various items, and would go "borrowing" things from others without returning them. She is selfish, sometimes violent, and has a disagreeable manner. Underneath, though, she is honest and a hard worker. This makes it strange that she is friends with Reimu, whose powers are purely from talent while she had to work very hard to get her own to the same level.
