The son of Mou Bu and and 4000 men commander of the Gaku Ka unit. Appearance Mou Ten is often described as looking very girlish with his long bright brown hair, short and slender frame as well as a distinct lack of facial hair. He usually wears a pink robe even into battle and carries a thin sword with him. He has virtually no resemblace to his father. Personality Mou Ten has a very friendly and outgoing personality as he is always lively and ready to joke about situations. At times, hecan seem quite carefree but this conceals a very cunning side of him which shows up when things get serious. He is not above using his father's and grandfather's influence to get what he wants. He cares very much for his family and displays a near-reckless abandon as he attacked Ren Pa when he saw his grandfather injured by the Wei Great General. Shou Bun Kun is the official who later worked his way up to Chancellor of the Left in the Qin state, and is extremely loyal to the king, Ei Sei. He used to be a warrior of great fame and was skilled with the spear. In the past, he fought alongside Ou Ki and Kyou in the military. One of Ohno's American friends, Susanna (more frequently known as Susie or Sue), is a petite girl with an avid interest in yaoi. Susanna comes off as somewhat harsh and unsociable, and startles the other Genshiken members by using crude anime and manga quotes in Japanese (written in katakana to show her unfamiliarity with the language). As she makes gains in comprehension, her responding solely in quotes makes it unclear just how much Japanese she understands, much to the chagrin of Ogiue and others. Her extensive knowledge of anime and manga quotes suggests that Susanna is well-versed in both, having seen Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, Fist of the North Star, Saint Seiya, Neko-Yasha, Mahoromatic, Azumanga Daioh, Doraemon and Lupin III, among others. She also seems to be obsessed with Japanese culture. As for her age, it is undetermined, and those who would know (i.e. Ohno) refuse to tell. Susanna wishes to study in Japan in the near future. In the relaunch of the manga, Sue has transferred to Shiiou University and is a first-year student and new club member of Genshiken. She develops romantic feelings for Fujimaru after she was told by Fujimaru that she is not just a clone but an individual. And later in Season 2 it appears that she and Fujimaru are in relationship.
Hinako Ninomiya was employed by Principal Kuno to help deal with all the "delinquent" students at Furinkan High. Initially she appears to an elementary school aged child who is rather giddy and excitable. In actuality her tale is much more complex. When Hinako was very young, she was quite sick and was hospitalized. While there she was discovered by Happosai and learned a chi-draining technique from him (he taught her this so that she would stop the nurses from chasing him after he stole their underwear). When Hinako uses this technique she grows into an older, twenty-something woman (her proper age). But the rest of her time is spent as a young, energetic child. Her personality changes to reflect her different ages. Hinako is the homeroom and English teacher at Furinkan for the 10th grade. She also has quite a crush on Soun Tendo because he was nice to her when she was in her child form. Isane Kotetsu, is the lieutenant of the 4th Division, the medical and supply relief division, in Gotei 13 under Captain Retsu Unohana. Isane is the older sister of Kiyone Kotetsu, one of the two 3rd seats in the 13th Division. Unlike Kiyone, she is generally quiet and observant, though she shares her sister's sense of loyalty. She looks to Unohana as a mentor and mother figure. It is noted by Unohana that Isane suffers from frequent and recurring nightmares. This is sometimes used as material for jokes, as Isane's nightmares are often odd or whimsical in their contents. For example, she once had a nightmare involving fish paste. As a pun, her given name contains the kanji for "brave," while her sister's contained the kanji for "quiet." Isane's zanpakutÅ� is Itegumo (å‡�雲, lit. Frozen Cloud, Viz: Frozen Snow). Its shikai command is "sprint" (奔れ, hashire?, English "run"). The guard is shaped like a snowflake. When its shikai is activated, two smaller blades protrude from Itegumo's hilt at 45° angles. She has yet to be seen using it in combat, since the one time she activates it she is immediately knocked out by Ichigo.
My Melody, the main protagonist of the series, is a rabbit from the forest of Mari Land. Throughout the show, she is shown wearing a pink hood that also covers her ears. With adequate cooking ability, My Melody is the one who prepares meals for Uta and her family. Her nickname is My Melo. The magic that comes from her tact can only be used as an antidote to Kuromi's spell. When she waves the tact, a small heart sticker attaches to an object and brings it to life. The animated object then helps to reverse the effects of Kuromi's magic. Sometimes, the animated object won't be able to perform the specific task it needs to. My Melo will then smile at it sweetly and say, "[object name] Onegai?" ("[object name] Please?"). This causes the enchanted object's power to intensify, sometimes increasing its size. Surprisingly, even Kuromi has become one of the things Melody used her magic on which was seen in one episode. As a very cheerful individual, My Melo is never seen angry. She can be a bit scatterbrained and oblivious to things though. She also doesn't seem to have any affections for anybody the way Kuromi and Uta have for Keichi, although she is quite fond of Usamimi Kamen. To travel from place to place, My Melo uses a pink umbrella which enables her to fly. This was until Kuromi stole and used it to go to Mari Land. Since then, she started sharing with Flat's umbrella. She regains it back in the second season though. She has two magical items. The first one is the Melody Takt, which she uses to cast magic by waving it like a maestro's baton. In ~Kurukuru Shuffle!~, the Melody Tact was upgraded into the Hyper Melody Takt by the king, but in Sukkiri♪, it was destroyed in the final battle, making it useless, although it was repaired a short time later by the Melody Box. The second is the Heart and Star Pendant, which appeared in Onegai My Melody Kirara★, My Melody uses it to do magic along with Kirara.
