Kaoru is relatively quiet and reserved, but when he does talk, he tells the truth, if you like it or not. He prefers to go it alone and not to involve anyone else, risking his life for another without hesitation. Like Luna, he holds a death deep in his heart that has changed his life. He's often resourceful and catches onto something before anyone else. He was the only one - besides Luna - who stood up to Howard at the beginning. He seems to relate to Luna more than anyone and appears to be in love with her, although he'd never say it.
Barry is a Pokemon Trainer from Sinnoh. He was shown to have a very hyperactive personality. When he ran into Ash, he demanded Ash pay a large amount of money as compensation for crashing into him within 10 seconds, and he even counted down the time on his Pokétch, and after 4 seconds, seeing as how Ash was still staring at him completely bewildered, Barry started complaining "as if I have time to do this!". Barry admires Paul and his training methods, and wants to be a strong Trainer like him. He also has a slightly similar mentality as Paul's, as in capturing strong Pokémon for training. However, unlike Paul, he still cares for his Pokémon. Dawn knew Barry back when they both lived in Twinleaf Town, however, Barry doesn't remember her. He only recognizes Ash, Brock, and Dawn due to the fact that they participated in the Sinnoh Double Battle Tournament with Paul. Fakir is the Knight of the story, and works through life watching over Myuuto to protect the Prince as planned. He is purposely cold and rude near the beginning of the series in an effort to focus solely on Myuuto, and also tries to sabotage Princess Tutu to give back the Prince's heart pieces. While this was all an intention to protect his friend from the normal course of the story, by Myuuto's wish to gain back his heart, his attitude is renewed. His role is very clear in the tale, the Knight is supposed to face the terrible Raven in an effort to guard the Prince; however, he is meant to die without laying a hand upon the monster. Fakir goes out to prove himself that the ending doesn't have to be as so, and as such, is at a loss of what his purpose is afterwards.

Grew up in a rural area in the kingdom, June now attends Rohini Royal Academy as a candidate for the sucessor of the Queen of Light, the ruler of the kingdom. However, June is lazy and does not care for the title, despite the fact that her chance of becoming the Queen increased significantly in the short amount of time that she attends Rohini. June good friends with Maya and Jimmy, two fellow students, and very close to her childhood friend, Sezru. June is very possesive of Sezru, as showed that whenever Sezru's fans starts their uproars, June stops them in short with a killer glance.
