Now she is never able to die, though she still feels the pain of injuries as normal. She's considered to be very powerful because she has lived for many years and earned that power, and because she doesn't die and can therefore keep fighting until she can no longer stand the pain. She has hated Kaguya ever since the moon princess humiliated Mokou's father by turning down his marriage proposal after he failed her trial of the Impossible Requests. Though the slight happened over a thousand years ago, she continues to detest Kaguya, knowing full well that she can never get her revenge--nor can Kaguya ever put a permanent end to her. When not fighting with Kaguya, though, she aids the nearby villagers by exterminating youkai and will even guide them safely to Eientei for medical treatment. She is a loner by nature and chooses not to socialize with humans or youkai, and has a dubious personality that can easily switch from friendly to threatening and back again, but her actions seem to indicate she may be a good person. Considering Mokou's surname and her back story as a daughter of an aristocrat charmed by the Kaguya-hime of legend, she is supposed to be the daughter of Kuramochi no Miko (車æŒ�皇å�), who was given the quest for the Jeweled Branch of Hourai by Kaguya. His model is speculated to be Fujiwara no Fuhito, the factual founder of the Fujiwara clan, a powerful clan of regents during the 9th to 13th centuries. Mokou is one of the few people in all of Gensokyo to wear pants. This, along with her somewhat forceful way of speaking, often leads to her being depicted as something of a tomboy (perhaps why her parents kept her out of public view); however, because conditions in Gensokyo still resemble those of feudal Japan, pants are hard to come by and must be made by a skilled tailor or imported from the outside world, and presumably are much more expensive than skirts. This may make pants a status symbol, and given Mokou's status as a daughter of the old Japanese aristocracy and her rugged lifestyle, it is likely it would be only natural for her to insist on wearing them. A bishop from the Barsburg Church, he convinces Teito to take the examination to enter the priesthood. The training he puts Teito through is vigorous and often involves his 'dolls', life-sized puppets he controls with Zaiphon. One of the 07-Ghosts, he is Fest. After Teito discovers that Castor and Frau are both one of the Seven Ghosts, Castor decides to wipe away Teito's memories of the incident, because their identities must remain a secret. Frau, however, stops him, telling him that if he takes away Teito's memories of when Frau revealed himself as Zehel, Teito will not remember Mikage's last smile (Frau transformed to save him when Mikage was possessed by Ayanami). His birthday is the 24th of December. Castor's original name was Xinglu Hausen, a descendant of the 6th District's God House. The jobs of the Hausen House was to train assassins to deal with dissenters to the Empire. He grew up with a father who treated him strictly, and his mother was the only person who spoiled him. His mother's love influenced him to create dolls in her image, claiming that he would make a mother just for him because his real mother belonged to his father. On one assassination mission, he heard beautiful singing coming from a noel mermaid locked in a cage. Just as the mermaid, Razette, became attached to Xinglu, Xinglu was taken aback by the beauty of her singing voice and rescued her. And she, in turn, opened his heart through her song and taught him how to smile. This changed his influences in doll crafting--he now created Razette dolls instead of mother dolls. Xinglu even considered traveling the world as a puppetmaster, with Razette singing the songs to his shows. But after the Raggs war, because the Hausen House supported of the Raggs Kingdom, they were ordered to hand over Xinglu's head. Xinglu's father, desperate not to lose his son and successor, insisted that Razette change her face so she can be offered as a sacrificial lamb. Although Razette understood and was ready to comply, Xinglu stepped in the way of his father's sword and was fatally wounded. In his dying moments, he saw only the spirit of Fest floating above him and has since then become one of the Seven Ghosts.

A special Filo Rial, and Firo's only disciple. He is a different species from the rest. By Motoyasu's influence, he has become a king. Though he is highly intelligent, and capable of human speech, he acts stupid and pretends that he cannot speak human language since he often sees Naofumi annoyed by Firo.
Yahiko is a samurai descendant. Yahiko's father died during the Battle of Ueno during the Boshin War, slain at the Keneiji Temple. His mother died of syphilis in a brothel to put food on their table not long after giving birth to her son. Yahiko was originally forced to live as a thief for the local Yakuza, who tricked him into believing that he still had to pay off the money the gangsters gave to his mother to buy medicine. With the help of Himura Kenshin and Kamiya Kaoru, he becomes an apprentice of the Kamiya Kasshin-Ryuu style. Yahiko has a friend/rival, Tsukayama Yutarou and a sweetheart, Sanjou Tsubame, who works at Akabeko.
