The youngest sister, she is very apologetic. In the first fight, she uses her ship's shield as a battering ram, not unlike Madoka's usage of shields. However, she is seen to be apologizing throughout the fight. She pilots the Red Snapper Extra. She is comparable to Ayano, however Ayano seems to be more proactive than Erytron. Like the other Red Snappers, her name is an allusion to the color red. Akiko is a princess Masahiro encounters in the second episode in the Imperial Palace after his coming of age and saves her when a demon attack her. She and Masahiro become good friends. Akiko is special because she is one of the few princesses to have the Kenki ability (the ability to see demons). One of the actors of a troupe, Ebisu was an apprentice of Kakunoj�'s household, who had treated him very well. When the household was being burnt and Kakunoj�'s parents were murdered before his very eyes by Hario Genba as part of the Ansei Purges, Ebisu attempted to protect Kakunoj�, and while doing so, he was burnt by the resulting fire, forced to live the rest of his life with bandages covering his face and body.
