Anime Noland appeared in two episodes of the anime: Numero Uno Articuno and The Symbol Life. He enjoys inventing things and riding on the airplane that he made. Rather than battling with random Pokémon, Noland allows the opponent to choose who they will battle against. Manga Noland is the first Frontier Brain fought by Emerald in Pokémon Adventures. He uses Mawile, Golem, and Glalie and respects Emerald, launching into a lengthy discussion about strategy after the battle. Noland is in charge of raising and taking care of all of the rental Pokémon not only in the Battle Factory, but the ones used by the simulated holographic trainers in the other Battle Frontier facilities as well. Anime Tucker's only anime appearance was in the episode Tactics Theatrics!!. In the anime, he is a big superstar. He likes to entertain others, and he has many fans. Automatically before the battle, he allows challengers to send in their Pokémon from other locations. Even if Ash was allowed to do this, he still used two Pokémon from his current party, Corphish and Swellow. He used an Arcanine and Swampert in a double battle against Ash Ketchum. The battle took place in the Battle Dome in front of a large audience. Tucker was defeated by Ash although he held a strong start for a while with his Pokémon's teamwork and strategy. Manga At the beginning of the Battle Frontier saga, Tucker was assaulted by Emerald while riding to the Battle Frontier Opening Ceremony on his Salamence. Tucker was promptly tied up and thrown backstage during the opening ceremony, where he is found by the other Brains. They let him go and he starts yelling at Emerald, on stage. Scott tells him to be quiet, and Tucker grows a flaming grudge against Emerald. Tucker bears witness to Emerald's victory over Noland, and immediately makes the boy come to his facility. However, the Battle Dome is actually Emerald's fifth challenge. He first appeared in the Lugia saga that comprised of The Mystery is History, A Parent Trapped and A Promise is a Promise. He has since appeared in number of episodes giving Butch and Cassidy their mission briefings, though this was only as a vocal role in all except Oaknapped. People often get his name wrong, much like Butch. For example, he was called Dr. Samba by Cassidy in The Ole' Berate and Switch!. He also has a short temper. Little is known about Namba. Because he does most of his work in a covert fashion, it is possible he is a fugitive from justice. It can be speculated that since he does order scientists and agents within Team Rocket, he is either very knowledgeable about his field or that he has been with the group for a while, climbing the corporate ladder at Team Rocket. Also, in the Japanese version of his appearances on Pokémon Chronicles, Namba demands Butch and Cassidy to capture rare Pokémon for something he calls the 'R Project.' [credit to bulbapedia]
Ash spoke to Cabernet in private about how compatible he was with his Pokémon. She was not at all impressed by any of them and shooed them away in disgust. Suddenly, Cilan and Iris interrupt the session to see what Ash is doing. Cabernet screams and points at Cilan as she recognizes him as a fellow Sommelier. She challenges Cilan to a Pokémon battle and uses her Futachimaru and Sawsbuck while he uses Ishizumai and Pansage.
She is a fan of Team Righteous and has always liked watching them "on the news films," and is a little ditzy. She was very glad "they" had came to help them against the yearly threat, a flock of Taillow. And it seemed that she was particularly worried about James, while he has a crush on her. James tries to convince Jessie and Meowth to stay in the village and help them in case of trouble, but they eventually got blasted off and returned to trying to steal Pikachu.
Crystal is a character from Pokémon Chronicles. She works on Sayda Island with Gary and is the younger sister of Dora. When she whistles, Pokémon such as Farfetch'd and Lapras come to her. Along with Gary, she takes care of an Aerodactyl. She assists in preventing Butch and Cassidy from stealing Aerodactyl with the help of her Ivysaur. At the end of the episode, Tracey gives her a sketch of her Ivysaur.
Ritchie first appeared in A Friend In Deed and quickly befriended his fellow Pokémon League competitor, Ash Ketchum. This led to problems in the next episode, Friend or Foe Alike, since the two were matched up to battle against each other. Ritchie won the match, since at the very end Ash's Charizard refused to fight Sparky and took a nap on the battlefield instead. Even though he lost in the next match to Assunta, he made it to the Top 8 position in the league. Ritchie showed up again in the anime when Ash and co. visited the Whirl Islands, starting in The Mystery is History. He was searching for a mysterious Pokémon that can be found there, which turned out to be a Lugia. He also appeared in three Pokémon Chronicles episodes; Oaknapped, Celebi and Joy and The Search for the Legend. [credit to bulbapedia]
