Another close friend of Funco. She is a Swiss SG 550 assault rifle. Her grades are top notch and she's an honor student, but a bit out of it at times. She sports exceptional firing accuracy at mid-range, and doesn't like to lose. She appears to have feelings for Funco and gets jealous when others get close to her. Developed in Switzerland, she's designed as a marksman rifle for long range fight. She can hit a target at 700m, because Switzerland is full of mountains. She's more effective with the semi-automatic shots, but she also can select burst or full auto. Urtori is the first princess of Onkamiyamukai. She decides to become the yomoru (priest sent to look out for a country's welfare) of Tusukuru after she meets Hakuoro. She later becomes an important party member, leading Hakuoro through the final battle and beyond.
Rin's second cousin once removed, and guardian. He and Rin share a very close relationship, almost like a father and daughter or a brother and sister. For a short period of time he was in love with Rin's mother, his own cousin Aki, before she died. After her death he became Rin's official guardian. He is very protective of Rin and does not seem to like Aoki at all because of Rin's affection towards him, which makes Reiji very jealous. As the story progresses, it becomes clear that his inability to fully cope with his lover's death has resulted in his projecting his feelings for her onto her daughter and he has convinced himself that she will take Aki's place once she comes of age.

He often ends up in situations that make it appear as if he is sexually harassing Rin; though, he believes to be the other way around, with him as the victim. Later on in the series he begins to grow attached to Rin more and more. He is at first unsure about his feelings for Rin, but later on he comes to the conclusion that it is fatherly love and nothing more. He eventually comes to terms that he is in love with Rin because of who she is, rather than how she looks or who she looks like. The two later become a couple on her 16th birthday.

This has resulted in her crossing moral and legal boundaries many times, including blackmail and taking advantage of Daisuke's inability to respond to her forcibly advances by threatening to scream that he is trying to molest her, when in fact it is her that is making those advances. Despite Rin's mischievous nature she has shown herself to care deeply for her friends and family, going to any length to defend them. Also much of her bad behaviour is a result of trying to hide the traces of the vulnerable little girl she used to be as a result of a tragedy in her past.
