Ikumi Suzuki is one of the members of the Second Newspaper Club, and herself comes from the Sports Club. She is childish, energetic and cute but she isn't too smart and has a short attention span; the advice she gives for the Newspaper Club's advice column is usually poorly thought out and ill-advised, though it often compliments the other members' contributions. Ikumi seems to be somewhat perverted, or at least naive, as she frequently tickles or otherwise touches other characters inappropriately, even going so far as to grope Fumi Kujou's breasts on multiple occasions. Ikumi loves eating and often spends club meetings stuffing her face with sweets and stick snacks, stick snacks being her favourite food. She also shows great admiration for the fictional superhero Koganen and states that the reason that she chose to specialise in athletics was because when she was a child she hoped to one day fight alongside Koganen. Even though Koganen's stage show was long since disbanded, Ikumi still occasionally meets with the actor who played the character, despite his reluctance to do so.

He projects an image of being a cool and capable guy, and he wants to be needed and trusted by everyone. He is quite a prankster, prone to teasing Eruna to see how she'd react. He also seems to have an interest in gaming, since he seen to have a game console when he was young and got excited to play a shooting game at a booth, although he did not clearly admit it. When he was a child, he wasn't very expressive so he didn't have many friends unlike his little brother. When his parents divorced and his mother took his little brother with her, Yuto felt that he wasn't needed because of his inability to express his emotions. Thus, to be liked by anyone, he pretended to be like his brother and tried to restart as a new person. His true self is actually awkward and sensitive, and a bit of a tsundere. Although he is aware that his mask would break anytime soon, he is still obsessed with keeping up his facade to avoid losing anyone. He smiles a lot as a result of his "acting", but lately he's also been showing his true smile. He also shows his true side when in battle, which Asuhi and Eruna both find quite frightening. Yukine is a second year student who hangs around in the library's reference room during lunchtime. She takes care of many newcomers from other schools who also happen to be delinquents - in particular, people who knew her brother. She's very kind, and avails Tomoya and Youhei an instruction book for magical spells for them to try. Yukine is actually involved deeply with the story relating to the delinquents. Her brother is well known for being a delinquent, and this sometimes gets her into different situations involving the delinquents of the town. It is later revealed, in After Story, that her brother died and nobody knew that other than the group of people that reside on her brother's side. Yukine later helps reunite the members of opposite gangs, and they all end up being friends.

Eruna is a high-tension, overreaction-prone, and overly fantasizing girl who really likes cute girls. Before entering high school, she used to play a lot of galges and in fact the main reason why she even attended Mikagura Academy in the first place was to meet the model of the school pamphlet. She is prone to glomping girls such as Himi and also fantasizing about relationships with Seisa or Otone. Apart from being interested in girls, she also has fujoshi tendencies, occasionally reacting to moments between Yuto and Asuhi or Usamaru and Tonkyun. She is also quite a big eater, stating once that no matter how much she eats she won't easily get fat, and really likes to be spoiled by others, particularly cute girls. However, when someone needs help, she doesn't hesitate to lend a hand to them. Optimistic and positive, the word "lose" doesn't exist in her dictionary and she always tries her best. She is very cheerful and can easily get along with anyone, even with hard-to-approach people like Seisa or Kyoma. Although she seems like an airhead, she can be pretty serious and keen regarding other people's feelings. She has a magnetic personality and tends to attract people, as noted by both Asuhi and Seisa. When in battle, she's not good at making complex battle strategies, so she tends to rely more on her physical ability and only uses her power when she's at a dead end.
