After taking good care of her health and living for a long time, Tewi became something more than an ordinary rabbit. She leads the Earthborn rabbits living in Eientei. Her impetuous temperament makes her seem more like a fairy than a phantom. Humans who lose their way in the bamboo forest around Eientei sometimes catch a glimpse of Tewi. Those who see her are able to find their way out without fail, so she is considered a guide of the forest. It's a shame that they waste the fortune given to them by Tewi on such a small thing, but humans are too clueless to notice their mistake. (Source: Touhou Wikia)
A former member of Yietta's military, Joshua L. Balboa is the navigator aboard the Cha-Cha Maru. A somewhat pragmatic, yet fun-loving individual, Balboa tends to second-guess everyone's decisions, mostly because of his military background. This quirk about him led to an argument with fellow crewmember Mikhail. However, when worst comes to worst, he can be counted on to back up Tita, as well as rescuing his captain and Elysse when Tita is gravely injured by a rogue military faction lead by Guizel. Besides being an excellent navigator, Balboa is also a tactical wizard because of his military experience. That is why even equipment used to snare cloud whales and jellysnakes can be turned around to attack and defend the Cha-Cha Maru against torpedoes and underwater lasers when Tita decides to take on Guizel when the tyrant uses the Gravity Defusion Array against the artificial colony on Yietta. Nichol Hawking, the Cha-Cha Maru's chief pilot, has a big crush on Tita. Once he, with a little help from Roger Rogers, spied on Tita as she and Ellyse bathed (and suffered a nosebleed as a result). Tita, however, got even with the both of them. When Tita was injured by Guizel, Nichol stayed at her bedside while she healed. Nichol is an expert pilot. Although he tends to panic, he knows enough to keep a level head in a crisis situation, especially when Tita leads the Cha-Cha Maru against the rogue fleet of Guizel. Source: Wikipedia
The hero of the story. A former slave captured by the Barsburg Empire and considered to be the military academy's star pupil. His homeland is the former Kingdom of Raggs, and he was raised as an orphan in a church. It is later revealed that Teito had been entrusted with the Eye of Mikhail when the Empire invaded his home country, and he is the son of the former king of Raggs. At the start of the manga, Teito makes a promise with his best (and only) friend, Mikage, that they would die together. Unfortunately, Mikage gives up his life to save Teito from the Empire. Teito, shaken, swears revenge even though Mikage told him not to. At the 7th District church he starts studying to become a priest, so he can gain a priest's advantages on his way to revenge -- free room and board in any inn in the Empire, and less stringent inspections at borders. However, along his way he gets mixed up in the affairs of the Gods because of the Eye of Mikhail, and this eventually brings him grief. Teito has a slave tattoo on his back from when he was first captured, and wears a slave collar around his neck, put there by Ayanami, that will explode if he gets separated from Frau, the collar's master, for 48 hours. His birthday is the first of December, his blood type is O, he's 159 cm tall, and he weighs 43kg. His favorite food is macaroni gratin, his favorite drink is melon soda, and his favorite color is sky blue. (Source: Wikipedia)
