A high-level demon, he had three hearts before giving one to Nanoha. All three must be destroyed in order for him to die. Despite his power, he often has a very childish personality and is gluttonous. Often taking the form of a little boy, some of his actions in this form disturb Nanoha such as when he reads porn, smokes, and drinks beer. Despite his constant vow to retrieve his heart from Nahoha, his determination becomes weaker and he comes to deeply care for her. He even gives her another of his hearts when the first is taken by an enemy.

Emily Sevensheep is a beast-girl who attends the magical academy in the city-state of Ariadne and is training to be a mage knight. She is among the most accomplished of the cadets and is also the class president of Class 3-C. Her personality is similar to that of Ayaka Yukihiro, and she looks down on those whom she considers as dunces or peasants. Like many others, she is an absolute fan of Nagi Springfield (her fanclub member number is 78), and she believes that the 'older form' of Negi is actually Nagi reincarnated. Her mother is shown to be a huge fan of Nagi as well. Emily has developed a rivalry with Ayase Yue, who became a fellow cadet after losing her memory. Initially looking down on her as a 'dunce', Emily has since recognised Yue as a competent magic user on-par or better than herself, after seeing Yue's ability in coordinating both of them, Beatrix and Collet while taking down a griffin-dragon. During the attack on the Royal Palace at New Ostia, Emily was erased by the "Code of the Lifemaker" while defending her comrades, disappearing into nothingness before Yue's eyes. It appears she is dead, however according to Nodoka Miyazaki she has only been sent to Cosmo Entelechaia and may be brought back into existence by the Great Grandmaster Key, of which little is yet known.
A magical girl and the secondary antagonist who has a close relationship with Oriko. The extra chapter Noisy Citrine reveals more details of her past. Originally a cheerful girl, she became antisocial, timid and quiet after being betrayed by her best friend. Some time later, she met Oriko, so Kirika wanted to be more worthy of the girl's attention by being a different kind of person. This led Kyubey to grant her a more outgoing personality. 1st grade in high school in Minarai Series. She fell in love with Konoha, the 3rd grade senpai, the first sight immediately entering the high school. She joined Literature Club because of him, the club president. Even though she found out that Konoha loves Touko, she stole a kiss from him and said she will never give up on him. Her goal is to become the one Konoha likes, so she is learning to be Bungaku Shoujo. Thus she is Bungaku Shoujo Minarai (An Apprentice to Literature Girl, the title of the series). Only thing she didn't know about being a Bungaku Shoujo until book 2 (Shoushin) was that Touko ate books. She tried eating the book and made her stomach hurt. Later, Konoha told her even though she will never become Touko, she has a talent to be Bungaku Shoujo. At the end of the series, Konoha told her after graduation that he likes her as a kouhai and even gave her a magazine that has a short story about her (she's the one to read it first) called "Houkago, Na no Hana to" (After School, with Flower of "Na")! Bungaku Shoujo Minarai takes place from her point of view. She appears a bit in one of short stories volumes "Koisuru Episode 4". She also appeared at the end of Hanjuku Sakka to "Bungaku Shoujo" na Muse as Kaito's first crush (She eventually became Kaito's Bungaku Shoujo).
