Akane's friend

Name: Yotaro Age: 8-10 Eyes: Dark blue Hair: Blond in the manga, brown in the anime First Appearance (Manga): Vol. 14 (Japanese) First Appearance (Anime): Episode 75 "Step Outside!" Love Interest: None Loved by: None Rivals/Opponents: Onna-Ranma Yotaro is a young and frail boy who is unable to go outside, despite his mother's attempts and trying to do so. Sickly and easily tired, Yotaro stays in bed all day and refuses to do any activity whatsoever - though he does have a wish. This wish is to have a panda of his very own, and one day, Yotaro gets his wish as none other than a wandering Genma (in panda form) is found by Yotaro's mother and taken home. At first, Genma is hesitant, but when he discovers how well he is treated (especially when it comes to food) he decides to stay in panda form and lounge around the household. A worried Ranma eventually finds Genma lounging around at the house and, in female form, makes his way inside where she is disgusted by Genma (and Yotaro's) laziness. At first, Ranma tries to take Genma back by force, but ends up having to resort to subtler means to do so by trying to tempt Yotaro to go outside. It is during this time that Ranma finds out that Yotaro isn't sickly, he is rather very lazy and unwilling to go outside - and it is only when Ranma forcibly kidnaps Genma-panda from the house that Yotaro goes outside, chasing Ranma all the day back to the Tendo dojo. Yotaro seems sickly at first, but it eventually is realized that his sickness is just a ruse to cover up for his laziness and reluctance to go outside. However, he is a very energetic boy and isn't really willing to give up what he has so easily. (animeinfo.org)

The Ghost Cat lives in the large bell that he wears around his neck. He is constantly searching for a fiancee, and has a smaller version of his bell. Whomever holds this bell becomes his fiancee. Originally Shampoo holds the smaller bell, but refuses to have anything to do with the Ghost Cat. After finding out that Ranma is her fiance, he decides to haunt Ranma. Of course with Ranma's intense fear of cats this only makes him revert to using his Cat-fu on the Ghost Cat. Finally he sees that he is no match for Ranma and decides to look for a fiancee elsewhere. Maomolin returns once again to claim Shampoo as his bride on New Year's Eve 1991. He takes her to the Cat Temple and seals her in. Once she leaves she immediately changes into her cat form. Only a kiss from Ranma can break the spell, which will be permanent once the 108 New Year's bells toll.

Natsume is a young woman who is an itinerant martial artist along with her younger sister, Kurumi. For years the two wandered Japan in search of their long-lost father, Soun Tendo. They briefly usurped Akane Tendo and Ranma Saotome’s claim to inherit the Tendo Dojo and carry on Anything Goes Martial Arts after challenging and defeating them, but conceded their claim following a rematch. Both sisters are the only characters to appear in the OVAs who did not originally appear in the manga. (Source: Ranma Wikia)

Appearing sporadically in chapters always wearing a cloak, Mafuu is the master of Kisaraba, Himemaru and Kagari since they were little. No one in the village knows how old she is and has kept her youthful face by avoiding sunlight.

Whenever Mafuu appears in the chapter, she will appear paler and sickly because she is unused to being outside during the day.
