Tomoya finds out Rena's secret when she suddenly runs into him. She asks him to be her pretend boyfriend to learn about relationships, but does he have his own agenda? He is extremely popular at school with the girls, and even though many have asked him out, his reply was always no. It is hinted that his older sister, who is a famous mangaka, influenced his personality. When Rena asked him why he didn't have a girlfriend, this was his reply: "I'm only going to date someone I'm interested in." The truth was that he was talking about Rena. Macha is the cat character that appears in .hack//SIGN and other .hack series. Although she appears to be a typical hacker or Vagrant AI, she is actually an alternate form of the Sixth Phase Macha the Temptress. She lures Tsukasa to a secret area, where Morganna can then manipulate him. After the events of SIGN she takes on the form Mia who resembles an older version of herself dressed as a warrior, and goes on adventures with Elk to find aromatic grass because Elk resembles the boy in her dreams(Tsukasa) who gave her aromatic grass in the first place. In .Hack//GU Endrance(an adult Elk) has the power to summon her true form into battle.
Movor transforms into a combat space-shuttle, and is capable of achieving planetary orbit under his own power. He carries detection equipment so he can search for Autobots from orbit, and is equipped with a powerful, long-range x-ray laser that allows him to attack them from that distance.
