Yuu Kajima an Earth Federation pilot from the very beginning, participating in the Battle of Loum. In late U.C. 0078, he found a mostly intact Zaku in a colony; this discovery would be a great benefit to the Federation's V Project. Yuu is the leader of the Marmot Team, one of the Federation's experimental corps who test new technologies before they're mass produced and distributed to the Federation Forces as a whole. During a sortie, the team encounters the RX-79BD-1 GM Blue Destiny Unit 1 attacking enemy and ally alike. When the GM comes after them, Philip and Samana are quickly defeated, and Yuu only barely drives it off. Later, the team is attacked by a Zeon mobile suit that fights similarly to the blue GM. Just as things look their worst, the blue GM appears and drives the enemy off. Back at the base, uYu is assigned to pilot the GM Blue Destiny. He becomes highly proficient with it, despite the fact that its EXAM System has a severe impact on his mind. Later, Yuu and his team participate in the Federation's drive to recapture California Base. Using GM Blue Destiny, Yuu is able to stop the Zeons from launching a nuclear missile. However, he is soon attacked by the MS-08TX(EXAM) Efreet Custom, piloted by Zeon ace Nimbus Schterzen. As they fight, the voice of the EXAM System reveals itself as a young Newtype girl named Marion Welch. She explains to Yuu that she was originally an assistant to EXAM creator Chlust Morses, but an experiment gone wrong put her in a coma and made an imprint of her soul on the machine. As a result, the EXAM System gives any pilot who uses it surrogate Newtype powers, but most have been driven insane by Marion's attempts to contact them. Marion begs Yuu to destroy EXAM and free her spirit. During their duel, Yuu and Nimbus cut each other down simultaneously and destroying their EXAM Systems. However, Yuu's work is not yet done. Soon after, he meets Professor Chlust Morses himself and learns that the old man is an insane xenophobe, paranoid with the fear that Newtypes will take over. Morses justifies EXAM as a necessary step in ensuring that non-Newtypes remain dominant. As they look over the newly completed RX-79BD-2 Blue Destiny Unit 2 and RX-79BD-3 Blue Destiny Unit 3, Zeon special forces attack, allowing Nimbus to hijack Blue Destiny Unit 2 and kill Morses, ensuring that he won't be able to make EXAM anymore. Nimbus escapes to space, with Yuu and his friends in hot pursuit using Blue Destiny 3. The group chases Nimbus to Side 5, where EXAM was first made, and a final showdown begins. Nimbus declares that he's the only one worthy of using EXAM and attempts to kill Yuu. Once more, the two strike each other down in unison, but this time Nimbus is killed, while Yuu drifts in space, where he is later picked up by his team. After the events of the games, Yuu continued on as a Federation soldier for the rest of the One Year War. He remained with the Federation during the Gryps Conflict and first Neo Zeon movement, eventually ending up as a member of Londo Bell during the second Neo Zeon movement. His actions while piloting Blue Destiny 1 earned Yuu the nickname "Blue Death". It is revealed that Yuu was one of the RGM-89 Jegan pilots who assisted in pushing Axis back at the end of Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack.
Dr. Gero (ドクター・ゲãƒ, DokutÄ� Gero?) made himself into a cyborg by implanting his brain into a robot body. He first appeared with Android #19 to kill Goku. After #19 was destroyed by Vegeta, he fled out of fear and with the intention of activating Android #17 and #18. Once he activated them, they quickly rebelled on their creator. #17 kicked his head off and crushed it. [spoiler]After the Red Ribbon Army was defeated by Goku, Dr. Gero goes into hiding in his laboratory located in a mountain area north of North City. In this lab, he strives to create the ultimate fighting machine. Using an extremely intelligent tracking device disguised as a ladybug, he studies Goku and the Z Fighters for years, observing the fights Goku has with Tien Shinhan, King Piccolo, Piccolo, and the Saiyans Raditz, Nappa and Vegeta. Dr. Gero ceases the study of Goku's power when the Saiyan leaves for Namek, believing he had already compiled enough information; so he simply adjusts the androids' power levels to accommodate for Goku's expected power increase, not accounting for the power level of Goku's Super Saiyan form. Believing he had created the ultimate fighting machines, he finalizes his plans and constructed a series of Androids. Android 16 was modeled on Gero's dead son, a high-ranking Red Ribbon soldier long ago felled by an enemy bullet. In his affection, Gero made him powerful, but did not want him to be destroyed in battle, so he made him gentle. While looking for fresh material for his experiments, Dr. Gero meets two notorious delinquents by chance, two siblings, a boy and a girl. He then kidnaps them and restructures them into Android 17 and Android 18. However, the two became rebellious as they retain their human free will, so he deactivated them. In Dragon Ball GT, he helped Dr. Myu create Super 17, who later went on to kill both of them.
Antagonist of the first Cardcaptor Sakura movie. Was a water fortune teller whose business was put under by Clow Reed's more accurate fortunes. She challenged Reed to many fights, but never resolved her conflict with him. When she died, she bound her soul to a book and remained alive inside of it for centuries waiting for her chance to see Reed again. As it turns out, she isn't waiting for a chance to kill Reed, but is actually in love with him.
A lightning-quick gun-fighter and current #1 fighter of the world, little is known of this reclusive warrior. The only thing known for sure is that he killed the prior top fighter in the world in a one-on-one duel -- that top fighter was the father of Afro Samurai. It is rumored that his strange skin color is due to some kind of horrible accident. The holder of the Number One headband for most of season one, Justice is the man who killed Afro's father before his eyes many years ago and to some extent convince him to challenge him when he was old enough. He is a remarkably skilled gunman, dressing in a cowboy garb with the Number One headband tied around his wide-brimmed hat. He has discolored, diseased-looking skin, which his bio on the official site implies is the result of a past accident (undecided, but assumed by the publishers to have been submerged in toxic waste) which would explain his abnormal abilities. Justice has the ability to regenerate himself after being exposed to blood, as seen just before his final fight with Afro when the injured hero's blood flows to Justice's feet and his withered body begins to reshape into the young version that fought Afro's father. He also has a third arm hidden on his back that holds a sword for catching opponents off guard (in an earlier version of the official website, Justice was described as "The Gunman with Three Arms"), which explains how he decapitated Afro's father. His origins are unknown, but he claims that destiny designed him to attain all the headbands and thus gain enough power to rule the world as a god and bring an end to all the violence and killing via force. Justice's hidden third arm is what decapitated Afro's father, he tries to use this move on Afro during their fight but just before the final blow Afro has a flashback of his father's fight and sees the third arm decapitate his father. Justice was able to survive being nearly decapitated (an ironic reversal of the scene with Afro's father), and seemed able to control the Number One's throne room to some extent, but Afro manages to defeat him by slicing his body into many smaller pieces. Justice returns several times in Season 2; first in Afro's dreams, seen nailed to a cross alongside Afro's father, then as a broken statue pointed out to Afro by Ninja Ninja and then once more in a non-speaking role, fully healed and meeting Takimoto, a mysterious masked man, during a solar eclipse. This small cameo has led many to believe Justice will be utilized again in a future plot. During interviews in the DVD release, it is stated that Justice and Afro's father were in fact part of the same clan of swordsmen and indeed best friends; however, their differing views on the headbands and how to end the violence plaguing the world eventually drove them apart, leading to the final confrontation between the two that parallels the final fight between Afro and Jinno.
