She is tall and slender like an athlete, due to a hormone disorder during puberty. Isuzu is very self conscious about her looks while she feels her face is not ugly, but simply plain, her biggest concerns are her heavy freckles and thick unruly hair which cause her to be depressed. Isuzu describes herself as a "normal mass-produced bumpkin high school girl you could find anywhere." After being trapped in the Guild Hamelin she became close friends with Minori seeing her strength, despite the conditions they were forced to face, gave Isuzu the strength to carry on until the day the Hamelin children were rescued by Shiroe and company. Even after escaping Hamelin Isuzu continues to have great respect for Minori. Isuzu looks up to Serara as a sort of motherly figure for the younger members of the Crescent Moon Alliance.

Karen is the oldest member of the team. This third-year student comes from an affluent family and is a member of the student council. Her parents are musicians and often go on tour. She misses them, but will not ask for them to come home for fear of disturbing their work, so despite wealth and popularity, she is often lonely. Komachi is her best friend and a fellow student council member. Seen around school as cool and inspiring, most of the students look up to her. She, as Nozomi learns, is the most trustworthy Cure. In the beginning, she is reluctant to join the Cure team. In episode 6, as the girls are being manhandled, Karen stands up to her friends, vowing to protect them regardless of transformation. The butterfly that eluded her previously reappears and successfully lands on her wrist, enabling her to transform to Cure Aqua. For catching Pinkies, Coco gets a violin from her Pinky Catch. As Cure Aqua; counterpart of Cure Mint, she wears deep blue in her outfit, resembling Cure Mint's outfit. She introduces herself as "Blue Spring of Intelligence, Cure Aqua!" (知性ã�®é�’ã��泉 ã‚ュアアクア!, Chisei no aoki izumi, Kyua Akua!) Like Nozomi and Komachi with Coco and Nuts respectively, she has a special bond with Milk. In the first movie, her counterpart is Dark Aqua, who is voiced by Reiko Kiuchi.
Angeletta is the granddaughter of the "Ice Queen," Countess Isabella Montovani. Her father, Count Adolfo Montovani, was the only son of the countess, while her mother, Giovanna, was a commoner. Both of her parents died without being personally recognized by her. When Angeletta was still a baby, she was entrusted by Lady Isabella to Marchelo Rossi. She was not accepted by her grandmother to that time. Angeletta was raised by her foster parents, Marchelo and Edda. Unlike her foster parents' real child, Anzelmo, she is an extremely kind person. Angeletta is also great in drawing and writing journals. It was proven through her sketchbook and diary. She is suffering from a serious heart illness for a long time. Romeo and Angeletta became very close friends. Angeletta was nicknamed by Romeo as his "Angel." Romeo and the rest of the Black Brothers helped the "Angel" to get accepted by her grandmother. They successfully convinced the "Ice Queen" that Angeletta is not after the Montovani estate. Countess Montovani then took custody of her granddaughter. She brought Angeletta to Paris to be treated for her heart illness. Romeo and Angeletta had already developed feelings for each other before they separated. Angeletta is named "Angelita" in the Tagalog dub.

A third year and the President of the Newspaper Club. He is Fujimaru's childhood friend. He is also, Fujimaru's "back up." He was the only one that knew about Fujimaru's supreme hacking skills, and was the one that told the Newspaper Club (with Fujimaru's permission) about the Takagis' work.
