Cuan is the Prince of Lenster and a descendant of Noba. He is Ethlin's husband and Sigurd's brother-in-law. Sigurd and Eltshan met him when they trained together at the Royal Academy of Barhara. His father King Calf had a tie to Ira's father, King Mananan. Cuan gets the legendary lance Gae Bolg (in Chapter 3, but gets to use it only briefly, due to leaving Sigurd at the beginning of Chapter 4.) However, he passes the Gae Bolg to his daughter Altenna, who gets to use it for a much longer period of time. Cuan is killed in an ambush by Trabant while crossing the Yied Desert in attempt to reinforce Siglud in Barhara. Ethlin is killed too, and Trabat takes Altenna away. His last words are, "Ethlin... I'm sorry. Fin... Look after Leaf..." (Source: Fire Emblem Wikia)

Soujuurou Shizuki is a young man from a rural location, having lived deep in the mountains without even electricity. In a way, it's as if he's in a time slip state. He is impressed by the city, but slowly adjusting into ordinary high school life. Soujuurou is a person of few words, but possesses a warm personality in contrast to Aoko and Alice. He is the kind of person that most people can grow accustomed to. He is a stable person who tends to keep quiet, even if he really believes in something. While not a special person, he isn't a normal person either. While generally a happy person, he can display a cold nature embodying "A good man on the surface, but in reality..." He doesn't possess a "self" when he first arrives in the city, and he cannot even qualify as a human. Normal humans will have subjective thought mixed into whatever they see, and they will choose what to see and what not to see. He will not nor knows how to judge the value of something or the basis of whether it is good or evil. He is forced to slowly adjust to human society as time passes. Alice wishes for his core way of thinking to never change, while Aoko thinks that the way he keeps changing is dangerous Soujuurou is the strongest TYPE-MOON protagonist when he first arrives from the mountains, but he gradually becomes weaker as he gets used to civilization and settles down as an "individual."
