Kanna is a young girl also known as Kannabi no Mikoto, since "-bi no mikoto" is the formal suffix given to all winged beings. She is one of the last winged beings in history. Kanna was deified out of fear for the awesome power inherent in all of her kind, so from birth, Kanna had been kept in isolated areas away from the general populace. Not long after meeting Ryuya and Uraha, she escaped with them in order to find her mother, the only other winged being left. While not knowing much about the outside world, Kanna adamantly took up learning how to juggle in the hope that she would one day be able to show her mother upon their reunion. As she traveled with her guardians, Kanna began to develop feelings for Ryuya, and when the party became surrounded by guards, she took to the sky as a diversion after surrounding Ryuya and Uraha with a protective shield. While in the air, Buddhist monks cast a spell that bound her into a cycle of eternal reincarnation and suffering that Ryuya fought to break until his death, leaving it up to his descendants to find a way to free Kanna, a cycle which culminated in his descendant, Yukito, and the girl, Misuzu. Story His father was a kind and just sheriff. An iron hand against evil and injustice, many outlaws sought to end his life. He was shot and killed by a criminal while covering a young Galford with his body. His father's dying words were to "become strong", and he swore to fulfill his father's last wish. Galford took the bullet that killed his father and carried it with him. After the murder of his father, Galford left his home to become a sailor, where he learned about the ninja of Japan. Fascinated by their stories of heroics and mysticism, he decided to learn from them. He completes his training in the Koga style under Ayame, the wife of Hanzo's master (Earthquake trained with him too but quit early). In the process of making his ninjato, Justice Blade, he fused the aforementioned bullet into the metal, and later carved names of rest of his family on the blade. Throughout the series, Galford seeks to uphold justice throughout the land eventually as a superhero of justice. In Edge of Destiny, he learns the location of his father's murderer and goes to seek revenge. In his ending, Galford feels homesick and spies on his home. He sees his mother talking to a man he doesn't recognize and smiling, a sight Galford hasn't seen in years. Assured of her happiness, Galford leaves to continue his life as a ninja. Personality Contrary to the seriousness of his fighting style, Galford is an optimistic and cheerful person, and is the most lighthearted of franchise's ninja characters. Like Terry, he fits many Japanese stereotypes for an American character in appearance, personality and speech. He exhibits good sportsmanship though there are times when he won't hesitate to take someone's life for the greater good. He also regrets leaving his mother and sisters, aware that he was supposed to help the family's income, but knows that he cannot rest until justice has been served. He has unrequited feelings for Nakoruru. This is somewhat debatable after his ending in Samurai Shodown VI, where he states that he gives up on her. (source: Kyosei, SNK Wikia)
Heihachi Mishima (roughly translates to "Eighth Peace of the Third Island") is a fictional Japanese character in the Tekken fighting game series. He is one of only four characters (the others being Paul Phoenix, Nina Williams and Yoshimitsu) to have appeared in every game in the series. The official backstory for each game somehow involves Heihachi or his immediate actions, and he makes two appearances within the series as the main antagonist (in both Tekken and Tekken 4), marking him as one of series' central characters. Heihachi is the son of Jinpachi Mishima, the father of Kazuya Mishima and Lars Alexandersson (though he is unaware of this), the adopted father of Lee Chaolan and the grandfather of Jin Kazama. He fights with the power of Mishima Style Karate and is the founder and the Commander of the Tekken Force Unit. He has hosted all but the second and fifth King of Iron Fist tournaments (which were hosted by Kazuya and Jinpachi, respectively). Heihachi was born as the heir to the rich, powerful, and well-respected Jinpachi Mishima, the owner of the powerful Mishima Zaibatsu and a world-famous martial arts master. During this time, Heihachi married and eventually had a son of his own, Kazuya. Heihachi raised Kazuya harshly; in his mind, he needed to forge a strong heir to eventually pass the Mishima Zaibatsu to. Much to his chagrin, Kazuya grew up kind and frail. At some point, Heihachi betrayed Jinpachi and stole the Zaibatsu from his father. After assuming control, Heihachi began to steer the Zaibatsu into the military industry while his father vanished. After some time, Jinpachi attempted to retake the Zaibatsu from his son, but he failed and was ultimately imprisoned underneath Hon-Maru, where he would remain for approximately 50 years. Finally fed up with Kazuya's "weakness", Heihachi tossed his son down a deep ravine, claiming that if he were truly his son, he'd be able to survive the fall and climb back up. Kazuya actually managed to do so, but only because he'd made a deal with the Devil in order to survive. To further motivate Kazuya, Heihachi adopted a Chinese orphan named Lee Chaolan and raised him as a rival to his true son. Over the years, Kazuya traveled abroad and competed in martial arts championships, becoming an undefeated champion (the only blemish on his record being a draw against Paul Phoenix). Eventually, Heihachi decided it was time to test his son's strength, and he announced the King of Iron Fist Tournament. Much to Heihachi's surprise, he was defeated by his son, Kazuya. Kazuya tossed Heihachi from a cliff just as Heihachi did when he was younger. However, being no ordinary man, Heihachi survived and returned two years later as a competitor in Kazuya's second King of Iron Fist Tournament. After winning the contest, he battles his adopted son Lee and has a showdown with Kazuya and defeats him. Afterwards, he tosses Kazuya into a volcano and shuns his adopted son for betraying him. His father, Heihachi Mishima, threw him off of a cliff as a young boy to see if he could climb back up, as the lion cubs do. Kazuya survived, and during his arduous struggle back up the cliff, he swore to get revenge against his father. This hatred is the dominant force in his life. His entire existence has been spent preparing for this one act of violent. As Kazuya was going to die an evil spirit flowed through him."Will you help me?" Kazuya asked? "Yes, in exchange for your soul." the Spirit spoke. Kazuya answered yes and the spirit bonded with him. 20 years later a research team called WWWC had been researching for a boy fallen off a crag which was Kazuya. The first researcher to find Kazuya was Jun Kazama. (Source: Tekkenpedia)
Nina Williams is a character from the Tekken game series. She is a cold-blooded assassin who made her first appearance in the original Tekken and has appeared in every Tekken since. She is one of only four Tekken characters to appear in each game and the only female character to have appeared in every installment. She has a notable love/hate relationship with her younger sister, Anna Williams. Nina was born and raised in Ireland, as was her sister, Anna Williams. From a young age, both were taught various forms of martial arts. A sibling rivalry boiled between the two. Both girls adored their father, Richard Williams, and they often battled for his attention. Nina was trained in assassination martial arts and borrows concepts from Aikido and bone martial arts, which was ideal for her job, as she quickly became a world-renowned assassin. Nina then entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament when she was hired to assassinate Heihachi Mishima. (biography provided by: tekken.wikia.com)
